Hi Y'all, bright and sunny here in the emids.
Been over at the coast for half-term while Mrs MATH is in Switzerland working! The weather has been a ok actually. Much better than forecast.
I came back inland last night with the MATHLETTS ready for school this morning. Two MATHLETTS have already left, youngest will be dropped off at 9 and I don't have to wander in until 11:30:jso time to pop into the village and go to the library.
Need to go and get a new airer after work cos mine has just collapsed:mad:

welcome to Super Saver(great name:T )
well done to shez and weeping river:T :T
sorry if I've missed anyone - just got so much on my plate ATM am going to book a couple of days holiday next week to try and have a rest!
Did my online Tesco shop last night and managed to get £10 off with a code from this site:T :j am really enjoying doing it this way too - so much less stressful and we're saving pounds by not impulse buying:D
Off to work again later but got jobs to do first.
My easiyo yoghurt maker is fab - we soon drank the probiotic yoghurt drink and now my first batch of yoghurt is chilling in the fridge for later!
Hope you all have a lovely day!
MATH - great to see you posting - dont leave it so long !:jDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Taplady I agree with you entirely there about online shopping. Some people give me a funny look when I say I have my shopping delivered, oooh lazy moo etc etc but I think what I save on impulse buying (and, yes, the codes you get on here!!!) lets me indulge myself by not having to traipse round the shops, and all the loading and unloading that goes with it. After 25 odd years of dragging a trolley round the supermarket I think I deserve the rest too

Well the week is beginning already. Where do the weeks go.
Supposed to be helping DD1 declutter her flat but I am still feeling sad about her attempts to score cheap points over her brother. So dont think I will go because if I say anything words just stay in the air for ever---- but then again I sometimes think I should say what I feel. We will see
Betheebee--- Hope the news of your brother is better than you are expecting.
Donny- enjoy your time in Spain we are missing the sunshine
Jackie o- Have a good time with you brother.
Well I must get on . LOads to do and a Creamy mushroom and chestnut pie with filo pastry to be made

Morning all
first day back at school for dd - looking forward to that as she's having a Wittering Morning - I have had to engage in discussions on such random subjects as hema beads, lilies, wether dolphins or whales are better, why can't human babies walk but horse babies can, do i think it's cheating to have a dr who monster that you can't see ...... - she's only been up 15 minutes.
At least she spoke to you! All I got was a couple of very sarcastic looks and a grunt this morning from my eldest.......don't you just love hormones!
Morning all :j
Got the house to myself for the first time in about 12 days - the best bit is I did all the housework yesterday so I have literally nothing to do today - bliss!
Going to enjoy a surf around with a cup of coffee before having my daily dose of wii fit (lost 10lbs now) Mind you - nothing fits anymore and I'm constantly hiking up my trousers, even had to go buy new knickers yesterday as I keep loosing them (as in falling down - tut at your mucky minds
)
Rubber chicken for us too tonight - not sure but think it will be a cheesy chicken and pasta bake.
Should use todays time wisely and make some meals up to take away with us for the weekend (off to pontins) - but might leave that for another day.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Morning everyone.
It has been a while since I popped over here, what with wedding preparations etc. However I am now officially married and back from honeymoon. Had a fabulous wedding and a wonderful if busy honeymoon in Paris. Spending the day sorting out bank accounts, changes of names, tax credits, you name it. Will take a while to get used to new name. Never had to spell the old one (Smith!) Also a ton of washing to catch up on from the kids being away and on their own whilst we were away. How can they generate so much in a week? But life is exciting and now need to get down to some serious moneysaving after an expensive few days away. But it was special.
Will try to pop in more often to say hi as things settle down. Catch up with all your news etc.Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking.
