Managed to get DD up ok which is always a feat after the holidays, DS got up early too even though he has no school. 1 load in the wm as the sun is shining at the moment and 1 pack up to be made.

Mainly in the office today but will also finish the ironing. Am hoping my new bike arrives today, I have a mountain bike but hate the way you sit on it iykwim, so have ordered an old fashioned shopper bike from amazon, only has 3 gears. Cant wait plan is to use to pop down the shops so no longer use the car for short journeys.

Dull in Dudley this morning.Thank you for the kind Anniversay messages you sent last week,we had a lovely day.We also had a good time on holiday [ even though we was camping in Somerset where the flash floods were :eek: it didnt effect us though-] just the break we needed.Kids back at school today,so back to the old routine So on that,i think i beeter get my cup of tea .Have a good day everyone,speak to you soon xx

just about to shoot off to work, dropping dd1 at a friend's house so she can be taken to school at the correct time, and dd2 and dd3 will dropped off at nurseries, then a manic drive and hunt for a parking space to get in for 8.30 am.

potato and spinch curry in the slowcooker for dinner tonight, naans are defrosting. i am celebrating the second night this week that dd3 has slept from 10 pm to 5 am. she's nearly 11 months old and i was beginning to think she would always be waking 3 or 4 times a night.

well, time to leave, hope everyone has a fab day.

Well it would be back to the normal routine now the holiday is over but I am having difficulty starting today, puppy is pinning me down for a cuddle while I drink my cuppa and type:D

Everything in the garden has grown rapidly in the last soggy week including the weeds so I must get out and get rid of those and put in some more plants.

I must also make some appointments (dr and hairdresser) and go visit friend. Just need one more cuppa and my painkillers then I will get going, honest!;)

Catowen - good advice re the weight loss and well done.

Shez and Weeping River - How are you feeling today? take it easy if you can.

Kathy - Hope you get on ok at the dentist, enjoy the charity shops.

I was really busy yesterday getting sorted for the kid's to go back to school today and then remembered dd has today off only ds2 went back today
I'm just waiting for the right time to phone the powers that be at the council to help me sort the problem I have with the silly old git next door and if they don't do something this time there will be trouble:mad:
then I have to double check my shopping list and go and do the weeks shopping

Morning all,:wave:

I know I haven't been around for a few days and haven't had chance to catch up on the posts....sorry i will later.

Really haven't done much over those days that I've not been on here. (Gosh my life is boring compared to others:o )

OH has just left for Jury Service, what a pallarver (? spelling) that is....he went in last Weds for 1st day and they pick 12 jurors names out of the 15 that turn up, he didnt get picked so came home was told to go back in for 10 today, the early bus is the only 1 he can get this morning so he's hanging around in the city for awhile, he's next to a cathedral so i told him to go and have a looksy round there........ I just hope today is a little better for him.

Anyway, if you remember we were downloading all our cd's (1100) to a external hard drive for our mobile rock disco...well we still have a few left to do, (roughly 270) thats my job after posting on here for this morning before i go out.

I have to go into town pay cc bill, hairdressers to cut the unruly pink mop thats seems to have resided on my head for the last few weeks, then off to see DD.

Tops of my legs are aching abit, but apart from that I'm ok. It's funny how when you run on a treadmill my legs don't ache the next day must be the hardness of the roads! or those boots (aussie;) ):D

I see everyone is looking forward to their kids going back for some reprieve, me included!!:p I shall enjoy having a quiet morning!!! although DS is now saying she's not going to school (bit of a madam strop!:rolleyes: ). Back to football/tap dancing for kids - and my class should start on wednesday:j

Boiled bacon in the SC for tea tonite - yum!

Quickie for me as I've got a doctors appointment at 8.10!
