Morning Chums ,weather not looking too good at the moment, and my joints are giving me gyp, so I don't think I'll bother putting my washing on this morning. My big brother is home from France for a few days so I shall spoil him instead.:j
Smallest (Mikey)DGS's 4th birthday yesterday ,had a smashing day with all the tribe, tomorrow is the next DGS (Henry) 7th birthday and just in case I may have forgotten he hung out of the window last night as I left to come home shouting out "See you on Tuesday Granny, I'm seven then, and a grown up boy" Like I would forget.:D
He has got a beautiful black eye at the moment, his head collided with his next brother up's one (Jack) . He is very proud of it though and what with that and his lack of teeth, as his front four milk teeth all came out with-in a week he looks like a real little bruiser. Our Henry is like 'Just William' his socks are always at half mast, and he spends half his time climbing trees, or getting into mischief, but he is a dear liitle boy, but a real rascal . Even his teachers say he is very appealing .He has blond hair and big blue eyes and a grin as big as Texas. a proper scallywag ,but very endearing.;) His brother Jack is the quiet one, there is only 14 months between them but they are like twins as you rarely see one without the other one. Although Henry is the younger, he is totally fearless and there are times when my heart is in my mouth at his antics.Still they keep me active and on my toes.
They are all back to school today, and their Mum has a day's guiding at Chatham dockyard .She is a part-time tour guide there and ususually works in the evenings, but her husband can work from home so she sometimes has a day's work there. She is in costume on the HMS Gannet today showing the tourists around an old-fashioned sailing ship.
Well I am off to the hospital for another dose of r/therapy today ,roll on the end of the month when it will all be finished .I have had a letter for my next mammogram in July, fingers crossed for that as well.
<<<Hugs to all those in need>>> and a big ;) to the rest of you,and well done to all those ladies who ran their 'Race for Life' yesterday:A
Take care evryone and have a good week, I intend to, what with my brother and another birthday party to go to tomorrow
    Cheers JackieO xx:D

    Morning Everyone

((Hugs)) to everyone who needs one

Congrats to Shez and Weeping River

Things are looking much better in our house this morning. Its suprising what how a full nights sleep makes the world a brighter place. There doesnt appear to be any new spots today so I'm hoping that dd will be no longer infectious in afew days.

While I'm off I have decided that I'm going to tackle the mess that we call home. Starting this morning with putting the rest of the shelves in the kitchen units and then arranging the cupboards. I think that I'll make Cheeseburger imposible pie for tea.

    Have a good day everyone

CATZNINE what kind of pup have you got?

Hi Candygirl! She is a cockapoo (spaniel poodle mix) she saves on the housework as she doesn't shed, we have allergies, and she is the most cuddliest and playful dog we have ever had! she is also a nice size, little bit bigger than a westie, so easy for me to handle.

Welcome Super Saver - you will enjoy your stay here - guaranteed :D

Going to hang washing on airer upstairs as its looking very dark out there today. Dishwasher to empty, kitchen to tidy and then I am off to Bluewater to do a bit of shopping. Want to buy an anniversary card for hubby as our's is on 13th of this month. Also want to go into Jessops to look at the camcorder cases in there. They want £30 or more for ones I have seen in Currys etc and they look cheaper on their website at least. Have got a fair pile of ironing to wade through when I get back so thats something to look forward to

Have a good day everyone - byeeeeeeeee

    Morning everyone
well done Shez & weeping river on running the race for life yesterday!

Wmf - hope you enoyed your meal and had a good anniversary.

((((HUGS)))) to Loopylou & rage in eden anyone who i`ve missed don`t be shy and feel free to take one.
Bethebee - hope that you are feeling better today.

This morning the weather is dull and damp which isn`t ideal for cutting the lawn so i suppose that will have to wait, shame really as it will be too long soon to just have a quick run over and it once again becomes a big job.

I think that the ironing beckons instead, then i`ll take the houndies for a walk.
The youngest hound is starting to take more of an interest in things that we are trying to teach her, i really wish that we coud have had her from being tiny as she would have been properly trained ages ago, she still has issues with some things but we`re getting there slowly but surely. The main thing is trusting people and she is coming on leaps and bounds with this now. She is realising that people are nice and don`t want to be cruel to her. It`s really lovely to see her playing with toys and with the other hounds that she`s become friends with and doing proper puppy things and enjoying herself.

We will take her back to the rescue in a few more weeks to let the lady that runs it see how she is getting on, they always like to see the ones that have been rehomed and follow their progress and both of ours are from the same rescue so the lady gets a double helping :D

I`ll get a move on as i`m at w**k later so i`ll catch up then.
    Have a great day everyone.

first day back at school for dd - looking forward to that as she's having a Wittering Morning - I have had to engage in discussions on such random subjects as hema beads, lilies, wether dolphins or whales are better, why can't human babies walk but horse babies can, do i think it's cheating to have a dr who monster that you can't see ...... - she's only been up 15 minutes.

I've got loads to do having been out lots at the weekend and then dd and her friend are coming back after school for tea and a trip to tesco - well they don't know about the tesco bit. I,ve also got to do my tax credit renewal, phone thorpe park about dd's glasses, pay a cheque into the bank - loads of bits and bobs - this is my non-working day!
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    WELCOME SUPERSAVER

HUGS CHARLIES_MUM, SMOKEY, PENPIN, CANDYGIRL AND ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS ONE.

WELL DONE SHEZ, WEEPING RIVER, and CATOWEN :j .

Up at 6 as I wanted to go for a run before OH went to work. It's raining here again. Today is an offset day for DS so he's going to play at a friends house later as I'm back at work at 1pm. I really don't want to go and was going to call in sick, am just fed up with it all at the mo. Hope I feel differently when my degree finishes (which I am pretending is not happening) or I will be job hunting.

Lunch will probably be a baked potatoe. Shall make some carrot and lentil soup to take with me.

    Have a good day all.

    Morning Guys!

Jackie0-I love reading your threads. You have a lovely family and should rightly be proud of them all. I already have an adoptive mum on here (Twink), but I would be proud if you were my mum!

    Im feeling a little better today:j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j ....my joints are quite painful today as its so damp, but my mouth/tummy feels better:D
My new helper was here at 7.50am:eek:    ....but thats great for me as we are early risers and gets it all over and done with quickly. She seems a lovely girl.

Our Roast Pork turned out devine yesterday and the apple sauce was beuatiful. I did what Pink suggested and it cooked lovely. I cooked the Spuds in olive oil as I had some that needed using and they turned out crispy and fluffy but did par-boil them first. OH treated DD to an ice-cream from the van last night and he nearly had a heart attack when they guy said £1.50 for a small cone and flake:rotfl:

OH is out weeding ATM. DD wants to go and see Sex and the city but its a 15 and not sure if she will get in or not:confused: ....I dont mind her seeing it as we are very open about sex etc...does that make me a bad mother? I want to see it myself...maybe I can sneak her in behind my wheelchair:D

3 hospital visits this week:eek:  ....nowhere near as bad as Jackie0, but still not nice.

    Anyway, love to all.
