Don't worry, you're not the only one. My almost 700 thankyou's in the vent forum prove that!

However, not one of those 'thank yous' is on this board - proving no-one *here* finds you 'helpful' in assisting them with problems with MyMovieStream.

You also neglect to say that many on that other board who had actually read what you say here, were not in your favour and thought you were to be ignored - but I still:iloveyou:

because you have a great amount of knowledge, and experience, I just wish you could use it here to help folks out ;)

Surely my point that taking free trials out for personal gain that can lead to more headaches than gain has helped some people out!

There is no "well they offer a free trial" argument here. They have not approached you here to take a free trial. People on this site look for free trials with the intent of using it then canceling it as you can clearly see from my quote of Martins. I'm not a superstitious person but it really does seem that what goes around comes around. If you're prepared to take advantage (knowing your doing so) just watch you're back.
You also neglect to say that many on that other board who had actually read what you say here, were not in your favour and thought you were to be ignored

The people who pointed out the ignore option were more than likely just doing that - pointing it out. There was no link to this thread so they more than likely didn't read it and just mentioned about the ignore function.

I have just re-read that thread. There is no post mentioning to ignore who also said they actually read this thread. All who mentioned they read this thread disagreed with you.

Some people did say they read it, we know what they thought!
However, not one of those 'thank yous' is on this board;)

    Actually, there are two!;)

Theres one on this page, can you spot it?

Sorry you forgot to acknowledge this bit:

I note, again, your sweeping generalisations though about 'everyone' being after freebies etc, still unhelpful to anyone on this board who has been a paying member of MMS like myself and has had their debit card debited after cancellation.

    Any constructive ideas?

My post is not aimed at you but the people who have read this/posted on here who did just intend to use the free trial for personal gain.

I don't have to achknowledge or comment on everything. It's like myself pointing out you didn't achknowledge that on the other thread everyone who mentioned they actually read this thread disagreed with you.

This is like a soap opera. I think the best thing for you would be to EMAIL them and put this question to them. When they have replied copy and paste both YOUR email to them and their REPLY. Then we can all see what happened and how we can avoid it ourselves. I really think that this would be the best way forward for everyone.

If it were that easy I wouldn't be here TMJ.

I e-mailed them twice in the last few weeks and no answers at all. I have written to them now too.

What more can I do? That's why I and others ask for help and advice here.

I just believe companies just can't just continue access customers bank accounts unlawfully, if the customer has canceled - no matter what. This isn't like a direct debit we can cancel - they can keep taking our money.

Eager, this is not a board, this is a thread that someone has called a board, as pointed out earlier the place is would be a mess if every person posted a thread on a subject then created a "Report board" It's also not for members to create their own sub boards. I'm sure he has had a few thanks on this thread anyway. I feel sorry for your situation, you are a genuine customer who has had a harsh time but looking about this thread and the others the majority are just the "Signed up for the trial to get something for nothing then quit" type, I have no sympathy for them whatsoever, I acknowledge that MMS haven't been fair but I can't condone what is simply taking advantage which sadly is promoted by this site, which seems to make everyone think it's ok. In actual fact with it's many boards this site caters for so many different areas and one doesn't need to agree with exploiting companies, be deep in debt or think people should be allowed to claim back bank charges to be a member. It's a shame there are some people on this board who want to suck up and are simply wont entertain the idea of disagreeing with the MoneySaving hierachy.

Maybe people who don't agree with this help thread, could start their own thread and chat away on there?

This is here to try and help people having problems. It isn't set up so people can start arguments!

If anyone has a genuine problem with MMS, please post, and maybe I, or someone else can offer you some help and advice.

Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.
