I used a double pack from the pound shop.
if it is your first 'suspected' pregnancy then you will feel different because you want to be pg. The tests are so reliable that many gps wont bother doing a repeat test.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Well it's a long time ago now but whilst most of the symptoms (as someone has said) mimic pre-period ones it's difficult to tell. However, i do remember the one thing that I noticed the most was an early, almost immediate, and strong aversion to tea and coffee. Not everyone gets that of course, but if you have...:D0

hi I'm not wanting to get pregnant for these reasons no money, enjoying my life 2 much & my OH is all that reliable etc, but if it does happen it happens. I will b adult about it & take the responsibility. To b really honest i've not told anyone bout this & I'm really scared.
But these headaches r really sore they have come & gone for 2 wks now, which has never happened b40 -
i've used the ones out of home bargains before 89p and they've been reliable. Anyway like you said leave it a few more days and do another one. Dont fret over it or that can make you feel weird!!!0

I had an unexpected pregnancy 4 years ago, I found I had cramps for about 2 weeks, with my pre period cramps normally only last about 1 day.. left it a few days did test .... positive, went to doctors...positive, cryed my eyes out as I really wasn't expecting the news but thankfully I was 23 and had been with my now husband 6 years, Now 4 years down the line my DS is the light of my life, nothing is more rewarding than having a child expected or unexpected
Good luck whatever the result
p.s. don't listen to what they tell you you'll need for a new baby - as someone who actually has one, I bought loads of unnecessary things that I didn't use
Buy at bootsales and ebay, babies don't get to use things/clothes much so there usually in good condition
£2000 you'll need for your babies 1st year - rubbish I did it for about £250 + nappies
Good LuckBusy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:0 -
I used a clearblue digital on the morning of the 4th day of my missed period and it said pregnant. That was after using a cheap internet dip stick showed postive. Pee in a disposable plastic cup so you make sure not too much pee gets on the test. Read the instructions as with clearblue if you are peeing straight on it hold in the stream for 5 seconds but, if you are dipping it hold for 20 seconds. Fingers crossed you get the result you want.0

When is the best time to do a pregnancy test? In relation to when you MIGHT'VE concieved?
This is not planned, I'm on the pill, but my boyfriend had a 'feeling' that he'd got me pregnant on our holiday a couple of weeks ago. It's most likely to be nothing, but he never gets these feelings, and so I'm just generally paranoid about drinking etc.
I did a pregnancy test a couple of days after that, just incase I'd been pregnant without realising... *eyeroll* but if he did somehow manage to slip that one important little sperm through when he felt he did, when should I be doing the test?
Was the 10th of May I think..
I know this sounds ridiculous, but he's never had this 'intuitive' (as he described it) feeling before, so we're both kinda freaked out... :P
Best to be safe than sorry...really...
Thanks0 -
If your due to have ur 7 day break from pill, I'd suggest at the end of those 7 days, but if he thinks yo got caught on 10th may, may be too early to test, if you start feeling an y symptoms try anothet test, either try fortnightly for a couple of tries, then try again at next 7 day break, most proberly him being over cautious. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

I'm on progesterone only, so I don't take breaks..
What sort of symptoms would you expect this early? And when do they generally start. I'm like peeing rather regularly.. Only started sort of yesterday and today. Too soon?
I've got a pregnancy test upstairs and ready, but don't want to waste it by doing it too early, but I'm quite eager to get an accurate answer..0
