Hi all, i'm a midwife and just stumbled across your thread. The cheapest way is to hand a urine sample into your local chemist. Its costs a couple of pounds (obviously the pound shop isn't a bad option!), but they do the same test we do in hospital, and you'll know in a couple of minutes. I found out i was pregnant with my son this way, and i'm still on good terms with the girl who told me my wonderful news!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to all!LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to get pregnant and have been off the pill since January. Every month I get my hopes up and suspect I might be pregnant and do a test and it's costing me about £4-5 a pop. Does anyone know anywhere that does them a bit cheaper than boots, asda etc...

Hello
Think you should try the TTC board - you'll get plenty of support there - I would recommend www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk for cheap ovulation and pregnancy tests - you can buy in bulk so much more cost efficient.
Good luck x0 -
eBay? 10 for about £3.0

Boots do a cheap one at £3.99 but I know that Lloyds I think do one for £2.99.
You can get them in poundland though:cool:0 -

or home bargins do one test for 80 0dd pence....l

forgot you can use your points in boots to buy them and thay did a double pack if you joined the health club for £3 odd....Ignore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.

Your best to do the test first thing in the morning. This is when the 'pregnancy' (can't remember the letters) hormone is at its strongestFat and proud lol0
