Hi Guys
Pics as promised! Think it looks great and am pleased with the finish, especially when I add my new JL towels I bought costing a fortue 2 years ago (pre mse-lol) Its still difficult looking and understanding why I need a disabled bathroom when Im so young, but it will help me be more independant and really doesnt look to bad:rolleyes:
Electrician will hopefully be in tomorrow or monday to sort the final stuff out.

Well something about asking the cosmos for things, i think you put yr ideas and what you would like to happen to yourself in a notebook somewhere and see what happens - dont know what else you have to do cos i havent got the book yet! but no harm jotting a few things down in a notepad is there?!!
you never know....0 -

Pure black! Cost a fortune but have never used them as bathroom not been finished before. The floor is cream with flecks of browns and slight black, so should contrast well.

Looks good PP! I like the tiles
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Cheapo from B&Q £5 a box which covers 1sqm...bargain and are not high gloss, so easy to keep clean without soap scum build up.

Hello everyone, just popped into say hiya :hello:
Haven't had time to do more than the briefest skim of today's thread so ((hugs)) to you sickies out there.
Well, I'm so busy, I don't know which way is up at the moment. The business still needs loads doing, so I'm forever up to my eyeballs in paperwork in my office. (And pukka pads ..... you lot have something to answer for :rotfl: Although they are on special at Tesco ATM) I'm still doing lots of childminding, parent care, cleaning. shopping, what seems like ever increasing amounts of laundry etc etc etc. Also, it's been DS2's first week at school, which he loves, luckily. Awww, they are so cute in their little uniforms, aren't they?
However, I think my mind is over saturated with new information now. Mr TM had a go at me the other day because I forgot to get him a sympathy card (he, of course, has lost complete use of his legs and can't get one himself) after taking 3 days to get him a new petrol cap (cos he couldn't get one on the way home from work either:mad:) When I said I'd forgotten the card, he said (in sarcastic tone) "You're forgetting a lot of things lately" AARRRGGGHHHH like I haven't enough to do, with very little help from him!!
Anyway, rant over. Saw Nelski last night as she popped in from one of her business trips. She's also hard at work lately. I'm off to see her this weekend ... got to do some more serious business planning and more importantly, have to spend my birthday money :j :j
Right, need to hang out the latest lot of washing, then do some online banking so I can see how much I can afford to put in my new business account. Have been "borrowing" from my personal account so farSo will pop into town later armed with a cheque. Then both boys have friends over for tea. Should I have bothered cleaning the house this morning? Probably not :rotfl:
Right, I had so much else to tell you, but that lump of cotton wool between my ears in struggling to process what I need to do today never mind anything else.
I'll catch up with you lot later,
Glad to see you back again MATH. Missed your posts.

Your bathroom looks lovely - it should make a real difference for you and make life a bit less difficult.
Spent morning cleaning bathroom and hoovering, getting two loads of washing on the line and dishwasher loaded up.
DH has now decide "he does not fancy the idea of a loft extension" after getting me enthusiastic about the idea.
Now sulking as he could have had the sense to say something before.
May make home made pizza for tea and everyone enjoyed the quiche and the large homity pie I made yesterday so that cheered me up a bit.
Solicitor had made a ***** of the will so I need an affadavit before probate can be granted and she is on holiday for a week!
Everything just seems to be falling through at the moment so really fed up!

Afternoon everyone,
I read this thread every single day but have only posted a couple of times which I feel bad for.
Last night I used up left over bolognese sauce in a shepherds pie and it is the first time I have properly used 'left overs' so I felt very proud of myselfTonight we are going out for a meal with my parents as they are going away tomorrow. I didn't have breakfast today and I got a sandwich from the bakers for lunch (bad I know) as I went into town to the farmers market :j But I was very disappointed as the one stall I really wanted wasn't there. There is a guy who normally does home made sausages (wild boar and black pudding, pork, apple and prune etc) and he wasn't there today
But I did get some fab cider and some hand made chocolate so all was not lost.
Anyway, I am at work today and left one load in the WM on timer which should be done when I get home. Its lovely and sunny here today so should get it dry. I will try and go the gym before I go out tonight but I still have a throat infection so don't know if I will make it. We have friends coming for dinner tomorrow so I am cooking chicken putenesca and a chocolate cheesecake tomorrow, yum0 -
