Morning all, I can't believe we're still on page one
Hugs to all that need them. I have the opposite problem to waking up early, I just can't get to sleep lately and have overslept twice this week, again this morning when I should have been up at 6.30 but didn't wake until 7.20. Lord knows what happened to the alarm. Luckily I chivvied everyone along and DS has now gone off to school (with my rucksack as he can't find his new one) apparently it's my fault for making him tidy his room!
DS is dressed and is now brushing her teeth, I just have her lunchbox to do and then it's off to pick up DS's bike from the shop where the numpties are putting right what they destroyed when it went in, then off to pick up the boxes. It will be like christmasOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Big hugs to all that need them as my feeling downness seems to be catching!
Anyway, made a huge batch of french onion soup last night made me feel all wintery and lovely. Still not started on the darn spare room but will get on top of it this evening for sure as they're delivering the new sofa bed on Monday
Anyway off for another day a w**k

Morning guys
:grouphug: for Catowen, Snowy, dlb and PP plus anyone else who needs one. Probably stating the obvious but have you guys tried soak in a hot bath, early night, etc to aid sleep? Fresh air/long walk will also help. I used to have a good routine like this when I was going through a really bad patch at work. Still didn't have fantastic sleep but it really helped.
ageandjo awaiting mum's pesto recipee!
DS still asleep so making the most. He starts pre-school this afternoon  I know he'll love it and settle in well as he's just done 2 years of nursery but it doesn't stop me being nervous. Have drawn strength from other baby osers that have gone off to school ok this week.
Lots to do. Been dragging my heels this week as in shock with new routine having given up work and DS starting pre-school.
Ironing pile from hell like others - what do you do to make the ironing less of a chore? I watch films I've been meaning to watch for ages.
DS up must go! Punky xPunky x0 -
LOL Kaz I wish!! No this is her ex-boyfriend from last year, he's a lovely guy and when we were planning on selling the house he stored a load of stuff at our house, now we've given up on the idea I need to get all our stuff back, this is the first chance I've had to get hold of him.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning all!!
I'm with you moggins, can't sleep well all night, drop off eventually, then can't wake up!!!! Come 6 in the morning and I could sleep for Britain!! Oh well, best get started.
Hope the poorly ones start to feel better (((hugs)))
Snowy, at the rate you're going you definitely won't need next week's FLC unless you want to come and do mine?:D
AussieLass my DH will sometimes be found ploughing through the ironing on a Sunday morning while watching TV!! I come back from Church to find him watching some really old film or something and a lovely pile of ironed shirts etc on the table. He doesn't do my "frillies" and "flimsies" though, says he can only do jeans etc. I'm not complaining!:D
Well I'm off out this morning, so best start to do something, or it'll all be still waiting when I get back.
Speak later, hopefully!!

Morning all
:grouphug: for everyone who's not feeling too great.
Don't know why I'm up at this time!! No excuse for it really! :rotfl:
Went to ice hockey last night and our team lost 6-0 at home... Good job it was only a friendly, and after all we are only a "premiership" team, whereas manchester are "elite"!!! Felt a bit sad really though as my friend is the netminder and it wasn't really his fault that they scored 6 - the other players were getting in his way and were rubbish defenders!!
Very excited today as my best friend is back from America this afternoon! She's been gone for over 3 months and I've really missed her! So much catching up to do! Unfortunately I'm at work tonight so I won't have chance to see her until tomorrow, but we can at least have a bit of a chat on the phone without having to worry about her international phone bill!!!!!
Plan for today:
- sort through receipts and paperwork and file/throw away
- put clean washing away
- sweep & mop living room
- clean bathroom
- work at 5, but pop into Boots on the way to pick up some bits & bobs
I'm in two minds as to whether to go and get showered and dressed now, or to plonk back into bed for a bit... Think I'll go make a brew and curl up on the sofa to think about it!
Weather seems nice today so may even go for a little walk around the area...
Take care everyone - hope you all feel better soon

Morning all:D
Hugs to all those not sleeping well and/or in pain.
Well today I plan to tidy round and maybe do some ironing whilst the little one is at playgroup. As it is now I shall have to iron a tshirt for her to wear in a minute, as no one has ironed in this house for days:rolleyes:
Have already cleaned the kitchen, tiles cupboards and machines etc all starclensed:j I love that stuff:happylove
I made chelsea buns yesterday, and they were delish, even hubby who normally won't eat bakers ones, said they were lovely.
Having boiled bacon for tea, and the leftovers will be made into a pea & ham soup for lunch at the weekend.
Right off to get us ready to walk to playgroup.
Laters:wave:
