    Morning everyone!

Yet another night's carp sleep! Just three hours or so....it'd drive a woman loopy!! I will leap back into bed in a bit and should get a few more hours, but I really could do without these v.irritating breaks in my slumber.

My plans for Thursday are to get my Sainsbury form done and dusted first thing, and drop it into the store as early as possible. I had fantastic advice from a lovely Customer Services professional who also posts on here. Old Style really is a magnet for good decent people! Thanks again lovely person!!

Other plans will be to do a bit more cleaning. There isn't a single speck of dust in my bedroom after yesterday. Think I will tackle the kitchen as it rarely gets finished, IYKWIM. Will definitely have a long walk too. I didn't quite get around to it yesterday...that's probably why I didn't sleep for any significant length of time.

Think I'll hop back into bed now, will have a read of my Complete Tightwad Gazette (it's fabulous BTW!), and will see you all in the morning, so night night.

    Hello everybody,

I've had quite a busy day today. Made some strawberry jam this arv. Yesterday when I was at Aldi punnets of strawberries were 40 cents. I got four which equals 2 lbs. It tastes delish but still a bit runny. Maybe when it cools it will thicken. I did the finger trick on a cold saucer and it parted and stayed that way. We are picking some mulberries tomorrow so will cook them up on Saturday.

Computer ready, but will pick it up tomorrow on the way home from the hairdressers. Bit tired today as we didn't go to bed until midnight last night. We watched a special on 9/11. Seen it all before  but still hard to get your head around the events.

Snowy Sounds like you've got Plan A under control now & you seem way more positive. Great news.

PP Hope you get a well needed rest.

Amanda I expect you home by 1pm today. :D I thought you said DH did the ironing last night while he watched the footie. I was madly jealous that you have him trained so well. ;) But then I read it again. :p

dlb Ebay and ironing sounds awful. I don't do ebay but I've got the ironing too.

Well I am taking the dogs for a short walk up to the block to see the great wall of China. DH's retainer wall I mean. :D Still windy here. Welcome back Math. Byeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Morning Snowy, dlb and PP, amanda666, Aussie lass,LTS Ageandjo and Twink.
Snowy, glad to see your light is back out - I hope it means you're having a good kip now.
Aussie - I've not heared of the finger test, the one I use is (all of once so far, lol) is to drop a little onto a chilled saucer. When ready it should form a 'skin' that wrinkles when you draw a teaspoon over it. Hope your jam sets soon :D
PP - sorry to hear you're so poorly again. A cwtch on the sofa sounds a good plan :D
Right, got to dart as DS1 got through both pairs of trousers in 2 days so had to wash them last night and now urgently need to check they've dried and iron them!
Hope everyone has a great day,

    Morning All

(((((hugs)))))) to all those who had bad nights or who are feeling run down

Can I join that club? I'm under so much pressure at work, it's starting to get me down. The person who's temping here is useless and I have to redo all her work.

Slept most of yesterday afternoon when I got home, then spent a good couple of hours nattering on the phone.

All the HM jam in the kitchen cupboard look so great! Lime curd's half eaten. It's really nice

Car's going into the garage tomorrow for a new starter motor, so not looking forward to that expense.

    Hugs again
