Congrats Roz!

I think I've a VERY long time before I get my next one...

Rzl - chuckled quite a bit at your interpretation of the dress code :D

You can tell that the boys are back on school lunches - it's 4 oclock and they're allready 'staaarving', lol. Bad mummy here doesn't have much in the way of 'healthy' as it's been so long since I did a 'proper' shop, so it's wedges and sausage rolls for the youngest, and hopefully there's enough noodles for me and the boys to have prawns and noodles.

Hugs to you all,

A GREAT BIG 23_30_8.gif FOR MATH.
Well, DD LOVED her first day at "big school". Must have really taken it out of her too, she ate ALL of her lunch and has demolished 3 flapjacks since getting home!! Only made them this morning and they're nearly gone.

I've mown the lawn, it took 55 mins and 13 times emptying the clippings! KNACKERED! While I was out there the 2 little ones decided to bring the mattress from DDs cotbed, fling all the ironed clothes from the settee onto the floor (!) and lean the mattress against the settee. Makes an excellent slide so I'm told. Little f*****s. Still, harmless fun I suppose.

Have also organised DH's wardrobe space today, he's worse than a woman he really is. I counted his work shirts today as they seem to be multiplying, he had 19!!! Thats AFTER having a "ruthless" cull of unnecessary clothing.

Deciding what to feed the sprogs for dinner, sausages, broccoli and spuds me thinks.

Catcha,
Al.

Its funny because I remember in the 70's all my friends liking either David Cassidy, Donny Osmond or the Bay City Rollers and they did nothing for me! I had my first crush on Starsky and Hutch, followed by John Travolta when I saw him in Grease! :o

Snowy - finally found yesterdays post where you mentioned the outcome of the docs appt. TBH I don't think 2 weeks is enough - why not make another appt now to see a Dr you know and like? It might take the two weeks to be able to see one. If you find you don't need it nearer the time you can always cancel... Just a thought,

Penpen - I've just ordered my composter voucher from the council. Couldn't live with throwing compostables in the bin any longer, lol.

Kaz, to quote my DS, you sound "well more happier" :D Is DS1 at college with you?

Composting - you'll love it! Can you get DSs to wee on it? That'll speed it up no end.

I am now proud owner of pasta maker, but no instructions. Will be on pasta thread later.

Shez, Cat, what was the Colin Firth film? Last one I saw him smouldering in was Love actually. No I tell a lie, just googled and he was in Nanny McPhee!

Hi, Math. Don't think we've been introduced, but everyone on this thread was awaiting your return no end!

Hi Pen Pen, Nice to meet you. I realised that I was officially back in OS land as I cracked open my first bottle of 'Autumn season' Stardrops. I've also worked out that the floral disenfectant is brill on your more aromatic garments but you are all probably well ahead of me on that one.

An OS/moneysaving project I have on hand is to mulch my flowerbeds for free. I used to have plum coloured slate which was really expensive and now is looking a little sp@rse. I currently have one large bed half mulched with pine cones which I send the MATHLETTS to grandmas to collect and another bed is almost completely covered with seashells. The Wendyhouse is being dismantled in the Autumn cos mini MATHLETT only uses the doorway for goal practice and I'm going to create a beach area with grasses, driftwood, shells and other oddments I collect on my long windswept walks.

Edited because the modesty prog objected to a perfectly clean word. LOL
