Rzl - would very much like to join you on your course if there is space! I love firemen too!

Have written half of DS's birthday thank you's and lost the plot a bit, keep drifting off thinking about Philip Schofield and Simon Le Bon!!!!! Must be the heat.

For all you David Cassidy fans the Hallmark Channel is about to show the David Cassidy Story :D

Punky - am I alone in thinking that perhaps the reason my company's gone from the internal theoretical course to the LFB-run practical uniformed-hunky-firemen course might just be something to do with the fact that our old training manager was a man but our new one is a woman? ;) (In fact she's a fire warden too - hmmmmmm, I wonder why she put herself forward :D)

    Tee hee.

Well my mum works with lots of them (she does payroll and financial support for Durham fire service).

    Not jealous, honest.

That is that! I am not going shopping now until I find out where the local market has moved to as it's definitely not in the city centre where it was supposed to be! Troo, have you got any idea????
    Yes :D

It's only in the square on saturdays, on wednesdays it's in the car park off Ladybellgate (is that how it's spelt? lol) Street. Until Christmas, when they'll probably kick the whole FEE-PAYING market off and let the Germans use it for FREE. AGAIN  The German market was rubbish as well

There's a rumour that's it's being moved to Netheridge eventually, I'll keep you updated :D

  • Hi all
My first crush was Tommy Steel, though I doubt if many here remember him.
Too busy to post a long message, hugs to all.
