    Lucie,

Let us know how Kylie is, I'm so excited.

On the topic of the Betty Jackson dresses I saw them too and resisted but think of them regularly....

DH even offered to buy a job lot so he could flog them on Ebay...I'm married to Del Boy...

    Hi everyone!
Busyish day but mainly at work. Hoping that Argos will have a slowcooker when I go past on my way home from work. I can see an extended browse on the SC thread coming up this weekend if so!
Will need to pop out to Tesco this eve and then the Lidl shop tomorrow. We've got our new neighbours coming over for a cuppa tomorrow pm so hope to have time to make some flapjacks and in true OS fill the oven with a couple of malt loaves aswell.
Sunday I am planning to take the small person to a free festival they're holding in the town whilst OH does his tax return that's been sitting and smiling sweetly at him for the last few weeks!
I always get ridiculously overexcited when we hit September because it's my favourite month. However, I've got a big O birthday coming up this year. Oh well the consolation is that I shall choose a new moggie as we've been without for a whole year. The intention is that we get a 2 year old rescue cat...remind me of that when I post that I've sucumbed to a tiny little bundle of kittenish fluff instead won't you!!
    Have a great weekend

Queenie Want to try your Jam crumble thingys but don't have a microwave will they be ok done in the oven? any tips?
Crumble Slices? (a.k.a Crumblies to my family ;):D )
Yes, you can make them in the oven, I remember when I posted the recipe one of our OS'ers had to cook her's in the oven - I recommended Gas 4/375F for approx 20 mins and if not ready, check at 5 min intervals. She came back to me and said her's were lovely and took 25mins in total.

    HTH :)

((Snowy)) What an awful position to be in!!! I agree, a job anywhere else right now sounds to be a better deal!

((joannasmum)) Have a bath run for him for when he gets home, give him a massage; sometimes, investing a bit of pampering to de-stress them will be enough to take the edge off things and could pay dividends by still making Sunday do-able. Send posi-vibes your way ((hugs))

D11yo is now all set and ready for Tuesday :j :j He looks a right bobby dazzler in his blazer and full uniform and is really excited. They are both wearing their new school shoes around the house today to "break them in" last thing they need are blisters first day back ;) We've discussed their packed lunch menu's insofar as they have given me a list of their favourites to incorporate into our menu plans. :rotfl:
