Me too! I still love the late 70's music - Heaven must be missing an angel etc!
Churchmouse - I think a slow cooker would be a good investment. They are supposed to use a very minimal amount of electricity and so should use less than your cooker.0 -
Bit cheeky this, as it's just past midnight!!
SnowyOwl said her house smelt of Christmas cake yesterday, mine smells of free jute shopping bag today!!!
I got a free shopping bag from Sainsbury today( yesterday!) because I bought 5 SoOrganic products and it's stinking the house out!!! If this smell doesn't decrease it'll be hitting a charity shop before the day's out!!
Hope not to have the frustration of yesterday when i spent hours trying to access this site, only to be told no way!! have adjusted my MTU ( sounds as if I know what I'm doing, doesn't it?!!) and hope this keeps me accessible!!
Hope everyone has a good day, will check in later, by which time it'll be page 2 or more!!!

Churchmouse retires to bed after a rendition of " All by myself"" in her own inimitable style!!! Night night all, Good morning all!!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Hiya Churchmouse (you cheeky little monkey you!)
My cake's aroma has settled down a bit...it's just a lovely spicey background smell now. Yesterday's smell was spice and brandy mixed. Churchmouse, what about washing the bag, maybe that would take some of the smell away. Now you know why it was free....
Not too sure what I am going to be doing later on when it's daylight. Maybe a bit of flyladying - I don't want to spend all my time internerding, that's for sure. If the weather is OK I'd like to go out for a nice walk in the morning. I definitely need some exercise, and the doctor said it would help my mood and lower my stress levels. (The office burning down would be the ultimate stress reliever).
Should see you all in the morning, have a lovely day if I don't!

Woohoo Roz makes it to the first page!!!
Can't sleep and as OH has to be up early for work I have gotten up so as not to disturb him with all my tossing and turning!
Recorded X-factor and Xtra-Factor on Saturday so may go make myself a hot chocolate and catch up with those. Have also recorded the first two episodes of "Evacuation" or whatever that CBBC program is so I may take a peek at that too!
Not much planned for daylight hours; probably just cleaning the bathroom and mopping & hoovering floors, then will probably come on the 'puta for a bit and start looking for inspiration for my last few Xmas presents! Going to an ice hockey game tomorrow evening with OH - its the first match of the season so quite excited!
Hope you all have a nice day and I'll catch up with you all on page 5 (or later) as this thread seems to get bigger every day!!
Take care,
Roz xxx0 -

Morning all :hello:
Snowy - hope that today brings a better day - I agree with the not spending too much time on the puter ..... wish I could manage it
Am having a ittle wobble this morning about the amoun of money I spent yesterday. I know that I can afford it but do I really want all that stuff. Th clothes are lovely but am now wondering if I really should have bought them.am going to think about it today and may take some back tonight to make myself feel better.
Plans for today just lie around w**k, am hoping that as I have to go in early I can leave early. Weds am is normally my swimming morning but as I need tobe in at 7 and the pool doesn't open till 7 I think that I won't be able to go. There is a session this evening and I really need to decide if I am going to carry on with my memebrship.
Right off to do a little ironing, make my pack up and then hit the shower.
Penny P - I hope that DD enjoyed school yesterday .
I hope that MATH makes an appearance soon .... miss his posts, and hopefully we will see more of Queenie now the boys are back at school.
Have a great day one and all

Good morning all!!
Got loads planned today, my first kids free morning as DD goes back to nursery today.
Slept really badly as DD has taken to getting in with us in the middle of the night lately, must think of something to get her out of this!!
Just checked my bank online and i have been paid for my first mystery shop Horray!!! Feeling a little better about doing some more now i know they do pay up LOL
Right of to have a very quick browse through the other pages then off to make pack up.
Hope you all have a great day xxProud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
Morning Amanda....aw you sounded so pleased yesterday to have taken some time out just for yourself, and you seemed happy with the clothes you bought, specially with the extra effort of the personal shopper. It's OK to indulge yourself every now and again, and let's face it clothes are pretty essential... And you're talking about giving up your gym membership too...
I still haven't decided what I am going to do today....though I have already done an hour of 'putering, so that's that one out the window already. Had a four hour sleep, now wide awake...I thought I was going to sleep better since I've got a breather between me and w*** ...huh, fat chance:mad:
Had a funny dream the other night...everywhere I went in my dream I was fixing my hair..it had transformed from brown curls to blonde and I was at it with the GHD straighteners the whole time. Wonder what that means...perhaps eat less cheese?
Morning to FrugalPie too...hope your LO's 1st day back is OK, and that your driving lesson is successful.
Have a lovely Wednesday everyone

Good morning to one and all..
Well today is the day my baby starts secondary school, ive been up and down all night, she is so excited about her new school in our new area, her uniform is pristin wont last like that though. Made her pack up and im just sitting here waiting to go and wake her up.
We going to go shopping when we dropped her off to try and take my mind off it as my stomach is turning with nerves.. never remembered being this nervous about anything before lol.. Its probably because its took me so long to get her a decent place at a school we all liked that ihope it all goes well.. kids dont you just love them lol..
