Morning all
Happy Birthday Ms London
PP she looks wonderful
I am not going to say anything much this morning other than I overslept! I had to haul DH out of bed whilst I dressed DD and shoved a sandwich in her hand and packed her lunch box. We were ready within 10 minutes and DH got her into school on time. It's a good job I had everything prepared last night or I never would have done it.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Penny-Pincher!! - Awwww how sweet does she look? If I were you and your OH I would be one proud set of parents today. She looks fab and from the look on her face you are far more worried than she is.You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0

awwww...thanks guys...all those comments mean so much. We are so proud of her, especially when we were told 3 years ago that she would need to go to a special school as she is partially sighted
She is a good girl and has had to do without many things in the past year as Ive been so ill-but she never moans and troops on;) ....maybe we did something right!
We are leaving in 10 minutes and OH is just hanging the washing out on the line:D Think, Im going to do her a Roast Chicken dinner instead of Shepards Pie as this is her favourite and will do an apple crumble for pud:p
Gosh...Im soooo nervous!

Hi everyone,
PP best wishes for DD - the uniform looks great - all the schols round here have changed to sweatshirts and don't look half as smart as a blazer IMHO.
Happy birthday Ms London, hope you're having a barbie on the beach to celebrate.
Snowy, let us know how you get on at the docs.
Ageandjo, hugs for you and sister, I've no experience of abuse so can't really comment.
Meeting last night didn't last too long, I was home by 9.00 but woken at 4.00 by DS coming home from the job he was doing.
DH home from Istanbul today, it'll be good to have him home. He tells me that he was taken to an outlet store out there by one of his Turkish colleagues and has bought 2 Italian fabric suits for £35 each and 2 posh shirts for a fiver each, so that's his work wardrobe replenished really cheaply:D .
Need to give myself a bit of a kick up the a**e with regards to OS, I've been very bad about cooking and cleaning over the last few days. Intended to sign up for flylady 2 but never got started so I think I'll aim for flylady 3 next week.

Morning All,
Quick one as I am anticipating a busy day today at work, quite glad actually the summer has been quiet and it is so dull.

Well, in-laws still here, so am pooped, they leave Saturday, we went to Bourton on the Water yesterday for a day out which was lovely, think they liked it.
DS went off to school today but DD doesn't start until Thursday, it's her first day in Reception and she's gutted to have to wait until then poor darling, she is so excited
Anyway must crack on, hugs to all in need, I haven't even caught up on yesterdays threads. Sorry.

Been up to feed the horse, Charlie, the little one has gone to the horse dentist to have his teeth looked at!!!!!! Its a fine morning but very windy, apples falling off the trees at a rate of knots.......have picked up quite a few very large ones this morning. I did a big bowl of apples yesterday, stewed them in the aga and they are now in the freezer with the blackeberries we picked yesterday.
Slept really well last night, but then I do when we are here, I know we suffer from bad light and noise pollution where we live, but there is little we can do about it, we cannot afford to move......
Right off to make oranges in lime jelly for the childrens supper tomorrow, cooked a big pot of bol sauce last night, its sitting in the pantry......
Have a good day folks............
