Cleaning Poem
I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'putering',
And I had to answer "yes."
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work..
I didn't mean to 'click.'
But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into...
I was into it all night.<>
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit on my hiney.

Morning one and all
So tired, as I had the worst night's sleep.
Had a very productive weekend though. Managed to get 2 banana breads made, a batch of peach and apricot jam and a batch of lime curd:T
Also wrote Christmas cards and wrapped all the presents I've bought so far:T Hoping to get into town later - if I get out of work on time - to get some more gifts bought
I also harvested a second batch of plums, ready for more plum jam. Collected up all windfall apples ready for chutney and picked the remaining coxes apples ready for a second batch of juice
So all in all, a very good weekendComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

PP - hope that the bath was nice, I hope the builders sort out the bathroom pdq........
VickyA - a good result for your boysmy cricketers did well too
Not feeling right here today ..... have seemed to have misplaced my get up and go. Its starting to effect my relationship with OH as well. I know I need to 'pull my socks up' as my nan would say but..........................
I should really be gratful as OH is lovely, I have a job thats not stressful, we go on holiday in 2 weeks and we have no debt other than the mortgage. I sometimes feel that I am more cut out to live on my own, my confidence just seems to disappear when I am in a relationship.
Think I will go and have a swim and hope that things start to look better.
Sorry for the moan on a lovely September morning.
:grouphug: to you all.
Hope all you mum's enjoy your last day (s) of no school
Have a great day:j

Morning
Hope everyone is well?
Just listening to the news about Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter who has died from a stingray:eek: I swam with stingrays in Antigua last year, such a shame I liked him.
Am going to call the consultant this morning to get an appointment to have a stomach bypass so fingers crossed I can get the ball rolling.
Work today, woke up thinking it was Sunday and why on earth the alarm was going off:rolleyes:
Off for a browse and a cuppa
Have a good day everyone:p0 -
hiya folks.
an early start from a bleary eyed me. I am starting to have real bladder problems through the night, so was up 3 times last night, plus had a really bad dream (usual back to school nonsense where kids are rioting and can't be controlled) so i feel rather poo. Why did i say i'd go back for an extra month??? Oh - now i remember, otherwise i would have used up 10 weeks of maternity leave before even wanting to start leave. Oh well, it's only 20 days.
A big hug from me to PPs daughter (she'll probably love it when she gets there but i'll be sending her good luck vibes.)
Also one for snowy - make sure you tell that doc everything. I had to actually cry at mine for it to be taken seriously, and i had councelling wwhich helped me refocus on what i want and how to deal with people, and now i can cope much better with the stressful job.
tired mum - good vibes to you too for your new job. Let us know how it goes later.
best go before i make myself late as i have to do packed lunch and get dressed yet.
Bye.
Michelle, xx0
