    Morning all :hello:

I asked about Moggins yesterday but didn't get an answer. I don't think anyone's heard from her :undecided If anyone's had PMs from her, let us know, just so we know she's OK.

Master troo was just complaining that he couldn't find his work jumpers so he wore a hoodie instead. When he put it in, he said it was a bit stinky :D He knows the rules - if it isn't in the washing basket (the right way round NOT INSIDE OUT) then it doesn't get washed. Oh and I know exactly where his work jumpers are, they're screwed up on his bedroom floor

Mr troo came in late on tuesday (about midnight) and fixed my puncture, he was late last night and washed up before he went to bed. Miss troo made today's lunch last night, I was  I think the message is sinking in :D

I'm going to hoover this morning and that's it.

:hello: Gooooooood Morning, fellow OS'ers :):D

Sloe picking day revisited today (fingers X'd it remains dry this time - also been tipped off that it's liver casserole for lunch but this time with liver and not wood pigeon breast  ). More importantly, hope the car gets me there and back it's been making a weird noise periodically and as I'm not mechanically minded, I do tend to worry about those things.

Basic loaf going into the BM on timer for when I get back, it's going to be a quick turnaround between visit, teatime and footie practise (Congrats to your son Pen Pen :j ) and d12yo is hoping to be picked for the 3rd week running for the match at the weekend.

We're having a bit of a time at the moment with d12yo's Home Ec teacher. She doesn't believe you can make cakes without eggs ( ). In fact, she is sooooo positive that you can't, she has resorted to being somewhat sarcastic towards D12yo on the issue and threatened that if she hears anymore about eggless cakes, he will get an automatic detention!! Well, on the one hand I'm  but on the other, oooh, I'm sooooooo tempted to rise (forgive the put) to the challenge, make her 5 different OS *eggless* cakes, write out the recipes on fancy labels and present them to her on the Food Open Evening :o He did tell her that I've made them, as had my Mother during the war, but she's having none of it. Now, I don't mind her not knowing about it, but her subsequent reactions have touched the "defensive mummy" button that lurks deep down. After all, I know she's the teacher, but she does appear to have a closed mind on this aspect and to be sarcastic to my lad as if he's a numpty turnip is quite something else when it means ridiculing him in front of the whole class. He was so proud of his knowledge too :o She's also D11yo's form tutor, but she doesn't seem to have made the connection that they are brothers (yet!).
Oh dilema, dilema!! To bake, or not to bake, that is the question!!

    ((((MimiF & freya))))

thriftlady, hope your sticky eye is better v. soon.

ageandjo: haven't seen moggins around either; hope she comes home soon :(

Have a good day, one and all

    Morning folks

My foot seems to be getting better. The shape of it is returning and it looks like a foot again :j

It's my nephew's 1st birthday today so will be popping to see him at some point. Can't believe how quick it has been since he was born.

Other things to be done are:
    - washing
    - go to bank to pay in cheque
    - food shopping
    - ironing
    - go to library - was sure my books were due back on the 29th but it was the 26th
    - all rooms to be cleaned/tidied/hoovered

    Bye for now

    Morning All,

    ((((Freya and MimiF))))

Ageandjo - glad to hear that your back's better today. I get back pain from time to time and it can drag you down soooooo easily.

Hey, Troo, well done you! Reward yourself with the extra time you have now!

Pen-Pen - have you got enough jars to do all that!!!!!!!?

Queenie - I'm afraid I would have to bake a cake and send it in........ !

Last day at w**k until next TUes, so looking forward to getting into my home and OS'ing. Jam making for me too - damson crop in our lane is HUGE this year and found a crab apple tree as well Yum, Yum!!

WM on last night, clothes on frame indoors as I think if I put them out, I might not see them again until someone sends me a photo of them decorating some Townhall in Norway......

    Get home and:

    1. Cook food and clean kitchen down.
    2. Make up spare bedroom as guests this weekend
    3. BAthrooms
    4. Attempt to clear the small Everst of paperwork in the study....

Oooh, Friday is the first day of term for my weekly yoga slot. Have really missed it over the summer - it really sorts out my back and general aches and pains!! And chills me out for the rest of the weekend

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Morning all :)

Thanks to coming back on OS, last night was very focused and even though I didn't get home from work until 2115 I still put the WM on twice, did the handwashing, made lunch for today and packed for going home at the weekend. I had to do something to take my mind off Monday!

Have good days everyone. Hugs to all those who needs them.

Morning everyone! Got my BM on and WM whirring - just hope the sun comes out to dry it!

Troo - The message may be sinking in then? :) Usually, if clothes in my house are put on or around the wash basket and not actually in it I throw them back into the bedroom of who they belong to in order to give them another try! Just need to start doing the same with the dishwasher! They seem to find it difficult here to actually open the DW door and place things in it and instead leave crockery in the near vacinity instead! :( Even hubby does these things and he's the one that complains the most if the house is in a mess!

Queenie - I think its appalling for a teacher to have this attitude. Teachers should have an open-minded, ready-for-discussion attitude with their pupils otherwise how will they learn? I would definitely do some eggless baking just to show her!

Ive got my shopping delivery coming soon but Im off to Sainsburys first for things I forgot to order!:embarasse:

Have a good day everyone!

    I do that too :D

Also, if I'm filling the dishwasher, they'll bring dirty plates into the kitchen and leave them on the worktop just inside the door. I don't think they even walk into the room, just stick their arms in to reach the worktop. BUT if I'm washing up, they'll put them on the worktop above the dishwasher  I'm beginning to think they won't come within 5 feet of me because they're just too scared :rotfl:
