Hi again
Well, we have been quite busy! OH went to Makros and bought a ton of meat reduced. Minced lamb 500g £1.22 x 4, 2 chickens £1, Pukka pies 20p each x 6, cheese, ham, bacon, eggs, milk.....10 x 1 pints for 70p:eek:   -so he bought 30 pints;) and will freeze them, sausages x £.90p (90% meat)....loads of other stuff. Then went to Lidls as they have half price fruit and veg again. Spent £40 but got loads.
Cooked the chicken up for dinner and popped the other in the freezer. Used one pack of mince for a large 7 portion shepards pie-so thats tea tomorrow and one dinner next week sorted for pennies:D Really pleased with his offers and have tons of food everywhere. Also topped up on apple juice for DD.

Congratulations Kiwichick. I passed my test three years ago and still feel like a new driver.
Still sending good vibes your way MimiF.
I've just come back onto the boards as I thought things were looking up and I didn't have to share any rubbish news, but just had a phonecall from my ex-place of work. I put in a formal grievance against my former line manager for bullying and now I have a formal hearing to attend next week. Scared!!
Still at work

hi everyone

bloomin well done kiwi - dead proud of you
mimif - take care and hope your dad recovers soon
troo - loving the strike please keep us updated
mushy - well done on being so brave, wish i had been. remember they cannot hurt you anymore - hope they get what they deserve.
well me + OH have been busy ripping out kitchens and replacing our kitchen. you'd be proud of us, OH's cousins are mega rich and were getting rid of an almost brand new gorgeous kitchen + smeg range + dishwasher in their new house so we took it and it looks fab in our kitchen. we also salvaged their ensuite set which was being chucked. we are so chuffed as we planned to replace our kitchen and bathroom and we have been able to do both for a fraction of the cost.
i truly believe in paying it forward and karma (we recently gave OH's other cousin our 3 piece suite) so we spent the last few days helping my dad tile their bathroom. we are going back to help soon.
been busy decluttering our house after our move (stuff we didn't manage to sort before we moved) and flylading it. moggins + anthea! would be proud.
need to go and rearrange boys room so it's a more workable space
love + hugs:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
