Morning everyone
Another early one here, but think I will join JackieO and make a big batch of "whatever is in the the fridge" soup. I have a lot of veggies to use up, so I should end up with quite a big supply of soup too. I've been neglecting myself recently - buying all these veggies has been one thing, but actually eating them has been quite another matter. I seem to just want to eat sandwiches or breakfast cereal rather than actually take the trouble to prepare something tasty. Though have to confess to making a chickpea curry the other day, now that was lovely!
AussieLass - sounds like you're making v.good progress with your new house. It'll be fabulous for you once you get moved in and have a bit more space around you. Best of luck with DGS - I'm sure he will be delighted to see his gran.
Best be off - not too much to report right now.
Bye for now.

 Morning everyone
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for xx (add date). This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Hello everyone, just having my coffee whilst doing a bit of MSEing. My eye is better but gone all sticky now  . My mum is coming over today so I think we'll pop into town for a coffee. Pizza for supper tonight -par baked pizza base from freezer, tomato sauce from freezer and mozzarella from freezerI never have much time to get supper ready on Thursdays so hm convenience food is the order of the day

morning all
I`m feeling so dopey this morning but it`s my own fault as I stayed up to see the Michelle Hope tsv on qvc. Waste of time as it wasn`t any good. Shame, because I have had two of her tsv outfits and they are fab and look good on any occasion
Hehe I see it is a soup day in several households. I laugh because my veg is out and ready to chop. Great minds think alike. I stocked up with lentils because I read that there will be a shortage and I can`t survive winter without lentils
Snowy I have done myself a veg stir fry on the last couple of days, when I have been on my own. I have left a small wok on the cooker top and have a packet of stir-in noodles so its very very quick and I just stir in mirrin and soya sauce I have to have things ready or I`ll be diving into the bread and cheese.
There was a diet doctors prog on the other night that I found so scary. A woman where the weight crept on and she ended up with diabetes and really swollen legs. They showed the pictures of itchy dermatitis on the legs due to bad circulation and also ulcers that could appear. Really scary to me as it showed how easily it can happen. I`m looking for a good pedometer today. They also had an athlete on a high meat programme and he went downhill very fast. I hardly eat any red meat but it`ll be once a week at most from now on.
Anyway veggie box is due today so thinking cap on for next few meals0 -
Good morning everyone,
Freya - sorry to hear about your Grandad xx
Mimi - hope your dad is improving today xx
Well, had DD in bed with me last night talking in her sleep!!!! Something about someone being on the roof!!! Ive woken up feeling like ive had no sleep so hoping to feel more awake after my cuppa!!!!
Only have 1 little one here today, and shes at nursery this morning, so planning on visiting the local garden centre, apparently they are doing some really nice fruit and veg at the moment so thought i would try there instead of Mr Ts!!!!
Really must get my books upstraight today as well and although i do clean the kitchen floor very regularly (honest) i really need to do the bit under the table, which i tend to 'forget'. Might join Snowy, kittie and Jackie in making some soup as well, mind you, as im on my own and feeling tierd, whats the betting i sit down and dont get up again until little one gets here!!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ageandjo - ive been wondering about moggins too, hope she is ok!!!! (glad your back is a bit better this morning!!!)0
