Big disaster - put the DW on, and after a while, went into the kitchen to find water all over the floor!!!!!! Not sure what to do now, have turned it off, but there is still loads of water in the DW so not sure if i should let it carry on and see if the water goes and risk it leaking on the floor again or leave it like it is until i can find someone who might know what to do!!!!

I'd try and drain it and then check to see if you have a blocked filter?

    Morning (just about!)all!

purpleprincess -how cool is that?? Secretly I've always wanted my nose piereced but I don't think I have the guts! DH has also said that he would hate it so I guess that one's out!

Snowy Owl - good luck with the application forms and here's to a better job:beer:

Penny-Pincher - Glad I'm not the only one who has to get up in the middle of the night to retrieve husbands from wherever they've fallen asleep! Hope your head is clearing somewhat.

Better get on here as quite a bit to do - I've already popped the hoover round but the washing up needs done. Am planning on making some breakfast pancakes today to pop in the freezer as well.

    Have a good day everyone!

The uniforms are partially ironed and labelled, except for the ones DS forgot to bring down before he went to his dad's. Looks like I will be ironing again tomorrow :(

Now I've found out that toms can be frozen I will shove mine straight in there until my hand is better. XDH might be popping round this afternoon to go blackberry picking with me as the weather is good.

  • Morning all,

Haven't been around lately but am hoping that this time I'll manage to stay on board.

Hugs to all that need or just want one!

Been up since 0830, DW on, TD on and load waiting to go in...DH not yet put up my washing line and airer already full...

DD's uniform etc all labelled and ready for her return on weds, shined my sink (ala flylady) and kitchen relatively tidy.

Am going onto nights tonight so back to bed for me and DD in a little while, just gotta do lunch and peel pot for dinner.

    Catch you all later

    Frugalpie

    Afternoon everyone :hello:

Ooooh, we're just so excited. We saw a house this morning and we've put in an offer! We're just waiting to hear back whether it has been accepted.... it should be though.... :j :j :j It's about 7 miles away from where we live now, can't afford to buy in this town unless we want a shoe box! So, we will be living as OS as possible as all our savings will disappear for deposit and fees (other than my car account, which I won't be touching).

It's also the first rugby match of the season, so DH and I will be making the most of the sun (at the mo ) at the rugby this afternoon.

Anyway, must get on and preen myself for my "boys" (ie rugby players :D).

    Ring your insurance company?
  • Afternoon all,

Catowen - poor you - can you pull it out to see if your inlet feed is loose or the outlet pipe has come adrift?

Spent most of yesterday getting everything ready for school - have a sore finger from sewing name tapes on - it's my own fault - Ishould have used a thimble.

We went to the beach this morning - ds1 was given a wetsuit and we managed to get one secondhand for ds2 cheaply , so yesterday we splurged on one in the sale for dh - so now the Irish Sea holds no terrors for anyone - except me. I'm going to lose some weight first - I'd hate to be harpooned whilst I was out in the water!!!!!

Got some beef reduced in Tesco so that needs to go in the SC ready for my parents coming on Tues - and need to put some rolls on and biccies for the lunches - but dh has just asked me to help tidy yhte garage - better go or heaven knows what he'll throw away......

    Hi All!

Thanks to all for the goodwishes for the carboot! The weather was sunny but quite windy, only made £20 but still its £20 more than I had this morning!:D(well thats before I spent £2 on a storage container and some Bramley apples! :o:D )

Catowen - hope you get your DW sorted and that it hasn't caused any damage to your floor!

Just had my HM soup which was great! am sorting out now for the skip - OH and I will be going with the trailer later. We travel 10 miles to one that recycles everything unlike the one in our town:mad: which sends it all to landfill!

Looking forward to the new Dalziel and Pasco tonight! plan to be all done and in my Jim Jams by then!;)

    Have a good afternoon all!
    Do what you love :happyhear
