Ooo, ouch, pp - I do hope it heals well for you, and as Aussie says you don't get any colds this winter!
Aussie lass - hope you had a great time at the pub and Aussie Lad had a nice Fathers Day.
Oooh, sarahmelita - my DS1 loves sushi, I bet your guests will be well impressed.

Hi Also to Katgoddess, Justin138, tiredlass,Ajr, RonanKfan and Mrs Harket.
Snowy, I read y our post last night - why not go to the docs and get a sick note instead of quitting, and then quit once a new job is in the bag? I know it's not the most 'ethical' way of doing it, but as they've treated you so badly I do think it's justified. I know you may be concerned about giving notice, but when you're allready covered by a sick note most employers will then release you from your contract early IYKWIM.
Stressed out Mum - I wish I could help with getting the smileys to work, but as Aussie lass would vouch I had the same problems to start with. I tweaked a few things (not sure what) and it still didn't work so gave up - and one day tried it again and it worked. I know I changed something in my user control panel on MSE. Sorry I'm no more help on this
Frugal Jo - as you get to 'know' me you'll find I have very little 'get up and go' myself - but you should see what some others on here get up to!! I motivated myslef yesterday using the Fly lady trick of doing 15 minute sessions, and for every 3sessions I got to do something 'for me'for 15 minutes. I find it helps if I can send the boys out to play or do something that doesn't involve the tv downstairs. That way I can have the radio on and I don't feel I need to sit and cuddle them all the time, lol. Ooo, got my fingers crossed for that job for you
Penny Pincher - I hope you get your essay done today and have a nice evening at your friends.
Amanda666 - sound to me like you're the one needing to take 5!!! Well done you on getting so much done and so early - I'm still in my PJ's!
Dobie - hope you enjoy your bike ride today. I've been meaning to 'get around' to fixing my bike for 2 years now!!! I really want to take the boys out - I even bought some racks for the car a few years ago and have yet to use them!!!!
Well, it's just short of 9 am now and I need to get showered and dressed. I need to chop, stone and freeze the remaining plums, and get all the uniforms sorted for Tuesday, plus decide what I'm going to wear to college (I have so few clothes that fit, and most of what I do have has holes worn in it!!!)
Also needing doing is menu planning for the week ahead (didn't do it last night as was on here for too long), and probably a shopping session.
Well, it won't take care of itself will it?
Ooo, just remembered that there's only a few weeks of a certain bootsale left, and I really wanted to find it..... I wonder if it's still on given the weather???
Best wishes to all,

Well, today i should be getting my new computer, so really excited, mine is so bad at the moment, and its little things like being able to download google earth that im looking forward to!!! I was going to have a lie in today, but i was up and dressed by 8.30 (early for me on a sunday!!!), the WM is on, and the DW is all loaded and ready to go!!!! In a minute, ive got some stuff in my downstairs cupboard that i want to put into the loft, the chap who is bringing my computer is also going to help me turn it into a downstairs toilet, so if i can show him that it is empty, he might be able to give me a date he can start it!!!!
Right, going to make some toast i think, have a lovely day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
