plans for today---get foil from shop so i can dye me hair. pick up ds from school and take girl dog out. oh just texted me from work and we are going out for tea tonight as he is not working tonight, so i am looking forward to not cooking.

just off to put kettle on to have some herbal tea, then i will do my reading,:j

Hi everyone,

Looking forward to the weekend, DD is coming home, albeit briefly and it seems ages since I've seen her. Will be pampering her a bit because she's been working very long hours lately and is also doing some freelance work as well so she's quite tired. She tells me she was shouted at by Helen Mirren's publicist yesterday but that's another story.

Have to think of a quick meal for 6 tonight dd will have BF with her and DS' GF is also coming, thinking of something porky atm.

Tootles, DH and I were talking about getting another caravan just the other day but we were wondering about buying one and storing it in Germany so that we can drive down easily and pick it up to tour Europe, will have to investigate if it can be done.

Hi everyone

Was off and out early this morning to get the food shopping I never got yesterday. Was just too wet and miserable I couldn't be bothered going out.

Also trailed round every shoe shop looking for a pair of flip-flops for my hols but to no avail. Wrong time of - its all winter boots.

Have a hair appt. at 1:30 so before I go there I will get the dishes done and put some clothes away.

I am munching away at a roll with jam and cheese and it's great. Aaahh the simple things

Must dash and get on.

Morning all,

Had a frustrating morning so far, turned up to an appointment and they didn’t show, couldn’t get help from other office for this pm because I am feeling yuk and wanted to go home, will soldier on I suppose.

Michelle – I think you should be easier on yourself - “I'm fed up of not getting anything done at home when i should be more than capable of doing a bit of something,” try to hold something in reserve for after the event. If your work is anything like mine they are complete bloodsuckers!!!

Taplady – hope you have a luvvverly time at the seaside, bring us all some rock back

Nicki – once again your post has made me laugh out loud this morning, I just love your preferred house blessing.:D

Thanks Queenie! That's just what I needed to hear! I have stopped feeling sorry for myself and have now sorted out the kitchen. Although the household deities had the last say - everything was pink from all the beetroot! It's all come clean except for one of my wooden poky stick thingies - now I have a pink stained one to match my turmeric stained one!

:iloveyou: Thanks Doddsy:iloveyou: I was 63 in August, people tell me I do not look my age, believe me I feel it some days!!!!!

We have been scouring the local adds for weeks now and not found anything suitable, we went down the motor caravan route, but we really like the car caravan senario for flexibility.........so it looks like its not going to happen.....I had to make a choccy cake to console myself, am just about to make a LARGE bowl of chocolate fudge icing to slap on the top........will not get to eat it all myself, will have to give OH at least 1 piece.

Library this afternoon, will also have to get some eggs, I used up the last ones to make the cake and a bread and butter pudding.....for supper. HM fish and chips.

Table set for lunch, I am still using up the cream cheese I managed to make in stead of yogurt...........mousetrap for OH with HM bread and banana and bought yogurt for afters...................

Afternnoon all,

Busy morning as per. Trainee has gone for lunch so can have a little MSE time. Am looking forward to the weekend although DH is working Sat and Sun, but will have some quality tme with the kids Sunday. Saturday we have ballet at 9.30 then shopping and then a birthday party at 4 for DD. Sat night am having nephew as sis is out so she is having our two tonight and we will go for a bike ride tonight by the Jubille River and stop for a sandwich at Dorney. There is a fab pub there which does 100 different sandwiches, lovely fresh bread and great fillings with soup, salad or chips. Am very fussy about my chips and these are fab!!

Wish me luck though haven't biked since before hols, when I was managing 25k easily but think I'm a tad out of condition now :rolleyes: .

Have a lovely weekend all. Apologies for lack of personal messages this week, will try harder next week.

Good afternoon everyone,

Welcome to OS shanes angel!!!!

Well, busy morning so far, one little one isnt here today as she has an ear infection, so just took the other 2 for a little walk, collecting leaves and acorns, and then we brought them home and made them into pictures!!!! Ive also swept the kitchen floor whilst they had their lunches, ive iced the chocolate yogurt cake i made yesterday with a lovely chocolate icing and ive cleaned the bathroom and toilet, so a good morning work completed!!!!
One little one has now gone for her nap, and the other one is here with me playing with the trains!!!! Im going to get him to help me with the dusting in a minute so that will be another job done!!!!

Queenie - thanks for the reminder re football party, i tried to phone them and there was no answer, so ive sent them an email, so hope i will hear from them later!!!!

Looked in the book shop for Feng Shui book but no joy so will order off amazon.

I saw an angels book in the book shop it was pink small box with cards/book inside is that it? it was £10 so you got a bargain there! can you give me a reading over the thread:rotfl:
