Quick hello from me this morning :hello:.

Hugs to anybody in need .

I'm going to venture onto a bus today, not unusal to most but its been 12 years since I last went on one :eek: . The service is pants round here so I cant miss it. We are off into town to have a swim and then go to Aldi for some shopping, going to take some sandwiches with me for lunch to eat on the way back. I'm just hoping that my ankle will stand up to it.

This afternoon will be spent doing some flyladying and my sister is coming round to pick up her post etc.

We have decided to concentrate on getting my dad's flat ready for sale first and then may get some work done on our house ready for sale if we see something we like next year.

Just started raining in Ye Olde London Towne! bit fresh too, but thats good cos it helps with my "sweats"

Watched Anthea last nite is this the new serious because im sure ive seen them women before? and then watched "Extras" that was so funny did any else see it?:rotfl: and she kissed Orlando Bloom:eek:

Also saw "Kensington Wives" - that really did good for my "lack of positive" attitude yesterday.:rolleyes:

Plan for today, go to work, have another chat with boss this morning to finish off things, come home pick up DS from nursery, think about what to have for tea? and then my last ebay item is being picked up this afternoon:T so thats 2 buggies and a high chair gone! so ive achieved something!

elona - I have tarot cards but i havent used them. Do you find the I Ching good? Do you do readings for the tarot?

Dorry - good find on the angel cards, are the readings you do on ebay for the day or week? thats sounds interesting.

We could start up a Mystic MSE Group!

Pennypenguin - Morning GasBag - bit of a nip in the air soon be time for those Wincyettes!!:rotfl: NO of course my children dont eat Liver!! neither does DH, so just me and mum had it, I havent bought any for yonks cos ive had no one to share it with!
What good kids you have? whats the secret to getting them to eat? - See now i feel useless again because I would really like my kids to eat better than what they are at the moment.:o (bad mum)

A bright day here today .... it's lovely to have blue sky again.

I was going to get dressed as soon as DS1 was off to school and take DS2 with me into town (cheques to put in bank) the take him straight to school so I had a good few hours to myself before the afternoon school runs begin. But I'm sat here in my DG!! I still have time :whistle:

DS1 was all pleased with himself. He starts his guitar lessons at school today and I gave him my sister's old (but very decent) guitar I found languishing in my mum's attic. My sis never learned to play it anyway :rolleyes:

Need to clear out the boys rooms today too. After the mammoth session in DS2's room last w/e, he decided he "likes it untidy" and had tipped all his toys everywhere :mad: So he's now having to play in DS1's room, which also seems to have lost its blue carpet under a sea of cars!

Have to do some more business set-up type stuff today - the stuff I was going to do yesterday mainly (whoops) Still so much to do and so little time .......

Right, my shower calls, as does the town centre. There was something I was going to buy today which I'll have to think about cos me brain's still half asleep.

SHEZ - I watched Extras for the first time last night. Very funny

Glorious here too, but seeing as I'm only a couple of miles down the road from Ticklemouse it would be, wouldn't it?

Lots to do today - working from home, but we're going away to Girona for a few days tomorrow, so need to get organised for that (You know - OH wanting to take all his currently dirty clothes with him, so they all need to be washed, dried, ironed & packed in less than 12 hours! That sort of thing. Mine are sorted all ready :A)
Plus tonight it's the last game of the regular season, so a trip over to Leeds is in order.
No time for a "proper" read, have got a load of emails to send by 9.30! Will pop back later :wave: Hope you all have a nice day

Morning all! It's brightening up here now, I've done one load of washing already and another's in the machine. Breadmaker is about to beep with one loaf and I need to make another for DS to take back to uni tomorrow.

Forgot to get my pears from my friend yesterday :mad: but am hoping to persuade OH to come out blackberrying with me on Sunday to squirrel them away in the freezer.

I need to go into town for fresh fruit and veg but am sitting here waiting for the Royal Mail to deliver a parcel that should have come yesterday :mad: .

morning everyone.

Nice to be able to catch up with the threads again this morning. I have been working so hard this week that by the time i have been getting in i have been unable to do much more than collapse on the sofa, and have a bit of a read.

I'm throwing a sickie today, as w*** tried taking the mickey out of me big style by getting me to do 3 cover lessons today. I have a list of my own work that i am plodding through as best i can, and on top of that, stopping back voluntarily with kids to do coursework for 2 extra hours a night as i feel guilty if i don't. My legs and arms have been so swollen that i walked around all day yesterday with no shoes and socks on at work, and i still came home like the elephant woman.

I'm fed up of not getting anything done at home when i should be more than capable of doing a bit of something, just cos work has over-exhausted me in an effort to get every last drop out of me before my maternity leave. ~I've even been working in my breaks as i have somuch to do and am trying to do it. :mad:

So plan for today - alternate school work with a bit of fly lady challenge, and then a bit of MSE time with my feet up.

Already done - put bin out and one load of DH's jeans through WM. Will peg washing out today as it is nice.

Belated birthday wishes for prinny and zed42. Hugs to joannasmum as i know exactly how you feel about your theft. We were in an armed robbery at home 5 years ago, and i have never left the doors unlocked again. I hate it when DH is away and it is just me.

I had best get a wriggle on anyway or i will waste my bonus day by sitting on here all the time. Hugs to everyone else.

Got loads to do and my friend is coming for the weekend (meeting her this evening from the station) so hope I get it all done in time at work all day today too which isn't a big help!!! Morning all! a lovely day here in Worcestershire:D have recovered from the stress of the last couple of days and am looking forward to a week at the seaside!:j

Got the house to myself today !:j got lots to do ready for my working holiday tomorrow.
1. get all washing and ironing upto date
2. bake 2 weetabix cakes
3. menu plan for DH and the boys while I'm away
4. shopping list for later
5. pack
6. sure theres lots more but cant think just now!

Morning all.

Beautiful morning here, so far!!

Feeling well this morning.:j Throat no longer sore so hopefully should start feeling healthier than of late. Rang work yesterday to say I may be in today, but they insisted I stay at home, so I'm not complaining:rotfl:

Still sat in pj's watching Jeremy Kyle:o , but will be cleaning house top to bottom today so it free's up the weekend, as DD is at her dad's from tonight till sunday lunchtime, so some quality time with DH me thinks.:A

No washing to do until the uniforms come home later.Bedding done and needs hanging outside, so should get dried pretty quickly.

May make some fork biscuits later, see how i feel as I don't want to over do it.
