Shez - I only get so much done because im home all day!!!! Sometimes i feel down because i dont get much adult conversation, and think i may have a nice clean house, but im still on my own!!!! Gosh, now im sounding really sad!!!! but im not, i have my children and they make me happy!!!!! You sound like you have a lovely family, a good job(?) and you probably do more than you think, so big hugs, and hope you feel better about it all soon xx
  • Welshlassie - Just read your post! FANTASTIC, we're leaving from Cardiff as well! (Just goes to show what a small world it is) What time are you planning to set off?? And more importantly have you managed to get a hotel room???

I was thinking about 9am (we left at 10am for Knebworth and it was really busy). I was planning on driving into MK and parking in an NCP there and then walking to the Bowl (apparently it is only about 1 and half miles), I don't want to get stuck in the Bowl car park until the early hours like Knebworth was.
We're staying in Luton its about a 40 minutes drive so not too bad. I happy not to drink so I can have control of the stereo and continue to play Robbie when we've left. There were no hotels in MK at all when we booked a few months ago. I've just picked up my tickets as well so I'd soooooo excited. :j
  • Welshlassie - Fantastic we're planning on leaving about 8ish as we want to get up there and check into the hotel and chill out a little before heading in.

Glad you managed to pick up your tickets I must admit I am getting really excited now. Have a great time and we'll compair notes when we get back!

Forgot to say - your actually lucky staying in Luton as it's closer to the hotel Rob is staying in!
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same

elona - unfortunately I can't fly out a day later as it is a walking holiday I am supposed to be going on and I wouldn't be able to catch up with my family IYSWIM :( So I literally have to make the choice of staying or going. In terms of ££, if I stay I would lose £18 travel insurance and £40 flights - it won't make a difference to hotel bookings etc as will need 2 rooms whether 3 or 4 of us travel...

  • Hello everyone...for the third time today...guess I like it here!

Taplady...that is fantastic news - all that worry, but thank God your fears were unfounded.

Ageandjo...what a nightmare for you. And as for your neighbours throwing batteries over into your garden for your dogs...what low life scum if they really are wanting to harm your animals.

Shez...sorry you are feeling low. Some days are just like that - though it seems to have been building for a while with you. Your job sounds a bit frustrating as you don't seem to be especially busy or challenged. Is it that which is getting to you? Good for you letting your boss know how you feel.

I've been to the dentist - it was OK. I've got v.sensitive teeth anyway so get lots of pain (not the end of the world type pain, just "ouch" when eating naughty things like ice-cream, or v.hot things). One of my teeth seems to have got a bit worse, but the dentist didn't seem to think it was anything major, just a bit of newly exposed nerve. I can put up with it.

My friend has cancelled my trip to London - was hoping to go in November. Truth be told I am relieved about it, I could do without the stress of the journey and putting the cats in the cattery and everything else. I'm feeling a bit like Shez today, a bit down in the mouth. I have the local paper and there are a few jobs in it I can apply for, so fingers crossed that will be more fruitful. I really just want to work in Sainsbury's right now, but they still haven't got back to me. There is no point in pinning all my hopes on them though as they may not wish to employ me.

There is nothing else to report. Think I'll go and have a snooze as I didn't sleep at all well last night.

    Bye for now.
