LOL Shez and Nicki

That's my daughter to a tee, she goes into school looking pretty as a picture and comes out looking like she's been caught up in a tornado. I count myself lucky if she still has 2 clips in her hair

yes but mines only 2 - so shes started rebelling young! arent they supposed to be dainty little darlings in dresses still at this age??

usually she has one bunch in her hairm t-shirt and bottoms covered in dirt/paint/food, her shoes are so scuffed at the toes - both my boys have never had trainers like that!! if its not them its wellington boots - on the wrong feet! :rotfl: :rotfl: i sometimes wonder where she came from i always blame DH saying she's got his Irish tinker in her from his side of the family:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

had a quiet day at home today, dw been on, wm on, shopping done been to asda. parcels for amazon books posted and watching midsummer night murders, drinking hot chocolate .mmmm

plans for this afternoon is to take girl dog for long walk on the way to pick up ds2 from school. i hope it doesn't rain again, very muggy and rainy here today, needs a good thunder to clear the air!!!

I am still around, unwell again at the moment and getting fed up with being ill:mad: . Been off work since monday with Laryngitis. Oh well life goes on.:rolleyes:

Managed to do the ironing mountain this morning, 3 hours:eek:

Just need to put that away the sort tea out, which will be chicken, mash, veg and gravy. Nice food that I will be able to swallow without too much pain.

Does anyone know how to get rid of squirrels from the garden? We have one loitering at the moment, and am worried it may attack our cat.

Not managed to read all of today's thread yet so Happt Birthday to Zed and fingers crossed and hugs to Taplady and DH

The sweet potato cakes have now become a home made quiche and DD is making sweet potato and parsnip crisps a la Gillian Mc Keith!!!
