Just finished our tea and rewarded myself with a go on the internet before doing the dishes.
Gave up with looking this arv in disgust and took out my frustrations on the mower and mowed the yard. Will search again tomorrow. The final of House is on tonight. Boo Hoo. So will be glued to that come 8.30pm. So plans tonight are do dishes, have shower, watch tv.
PP ((((((((((hugs))))))))))) hope you feel better as the day wears on. How is the reno going?
Prinny BF sounds a sweety, enjoy your meal out.
Churchmouse I wish mine was with yours. Did you know that if you have ulcers if you put a dab of vegemite on them it cures them. Beat that.
Moggins I've never felt like that but I hope it passes quickly. Could be a strange bug of some sort.
Cat I kill them with an axe. They usually lay quite still as they sunbake. Just creep up and swing so you cut off their head. Sometimes when you garden and dig a hole for a tree/shrub you come across baby snakes. I kill them too.
Mrs Mix Welcome to OS.
Better get cracking. ByeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
hi all ,
long time lurker first time poster (takes deep breath) .Trying my first (maybe last) flylady challange today after i have tackled the mountain of ironing that is just about to take over the dining room . ttfn bubblebath girlx0 -
Morning all,
Scottishspendaholic - good luck with your interview, hope it goes well for you.
Purpleprincess - Happy Birthday to you:bdaycake:
Mrs_mix - Hello:hello:
Pennypincher - sorry to hear you are feeling unwell, hope you pick up again soon.
Chipps - reading about your junk finally ending up on the bedroom floor made me laugh as that it what always happens to me too, trouble is I am the only one who clears it up in the end, the others just don't 'see' it.
Roz_V - ((hugs)) sorry to hear about oh's nana, what do you think you will do about the holiday?
beachbeth - I really sympathize with you, in a similar situation myself although thankfully the pmt isn't too bad, instead of getting angry I get incredibly sad. The pain is appalling though, have medication from the drs but a bit scared to use it cos of the side effects. I found EPO relieved sore b**bs but nothing else.
Taplady - hi! hope the dr has good news for oh today.
My oh is driving to Newcastle for an overnight business thingy, so I will occupy myself this evening with a stack of ironing and Midsommer Murders, and perhaps some sorting out in the bedroom - too much craft stuff bursting out of places!
Everyone have a good day.
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Hello!
Welcome to Bubblebathgirl! (long time since i had a bubble bath since having kids!)
Can I ask? Does anyone sweat alot? I seem to be sweating an awful lot lately, especially in the mornings - so much so I cant even put any make up/etc on cos it wld be waste of time!
Is this the menopause starting:eek: or am i just overweight and unfit?
nicki - i love reading your posts they do make me laugh!
moggins - provided you keep drinking fluids then yr body will survive, it will eat when it wants to eat - but i do wonder whether you are a tad depressed? sometimes that does curb the appetite? (wish i could curb my appetite!) what about some "holistic" therapy like kazonline mentioned to de-stress? abit of "me pamper time" can do wonders.
purpleprincess - glad you are enjoying your day you sound happy! and yr OS cakes went down a treat! and a lovely dinner to look forward too - its nice to go out and not have to cook isnt it!
elona - sorry the housesale fell through x
penpen - whats dolcellate cheese and where do you buy it? for yr courgette soup recipe? can you use another cheese instead?
edit: just googled it - says like gorgonzola?0 -
Hello everyone :hello:
Not posted on here for ages, but I'm going to make an effort to get on more regularly now.
I'm in the middle of moving house too, so trying to be super organised, live out of the freezer, and get rid of anything we don't need at the moment. Think it may be a good idea to join the flylady challenge.

Thanks everybody for the kind words.doddsy wrote:what do you think you will do about the holiday?
No idea what I'm going to do about it!
My first instinct was not to go, and stay so I can go to the funeral and look after OH. But I was supposed to be going with my parents and my sister and I don't want them to think that I'm choosing OH's family over themAlso, it's my only holiday this year and I won't get away again until at least Xmas 2007...
I know it hasn't cost any extra for me to go with them - they needed to book 2 rooms anyway as there are 3 of them going, and the flights were cheap so I don't mind losing the money from them, so the ££ side of it isn't a problem.
Any advice? OH says I should go...
nicki - your rant made me :rotfl: I know it's not funny but I couldn't help it0
