    Morning All

Managed to get a couple of hours sleep after the locksmith left at about midnight, considering we phoned them at 7pm it was pretty poor service really. The police on the other hand have been brillant. They came round as quick as possible and sent the CSI guy really quick as well, he managed to get one print from where the keys were hung. Our local community bobby is calling round this morning to make sure I'm OK as I was pretty shocked yesterday and burst into tears while he was taking my statement.

Ijust hope that the insurance pay out it was damn expensive and we saved up for it as we both love fast cars, its our luxury item and sacrificed holidays etc to get it. DH thinks that it was stolen to order, I would have wet myself laughing afew years ago if somebody had said that I would be getting this worked up about a Skoda but its one in disguise its a Octavia VRS and they have the same engine as a Audi TT.

What really upsets me most is the thought that some scumbag is actually touching Joannas things. I know that proberbly doesnt make sense really, I feel that I've really let her down by letting someone get in the house and take the car with her stuff in it. Sorry set myself off crying again.

Anyway plan for the day is, wait in for insurance company to ring, and keep myself busy doing some bits of housework as my ankle will allow.

Thanks for all your support everyone you've been ace.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning Elona, Cat, Penny pincher, Twink, Ice, Pen pen, ageandjo and snowy! also everyone else :hello:

Raining heavily here now! Thankfully I caught up on all the washing yesterday, just a bit of ironing to do. I am itching to do something with the wool I got from Trago mills last week, must find Moggins post about the scarves.

Will be making some vanilla fork cookies later and taking some over to my neighbour (make a cake for your neighbour thread) instead of a cake as I am not sure what cake she would like but I do know she likes the cookies.

Joannasmum - (((hugs))) hope you hear something positive soon.

    Catz x

    Good morning
Sorry, not up to date with all that's going on here, as I haven't been around on MSE for the last few days.
    Hi to everyone.
Am off to go join Moggins flylady thingy.....
although the house doesn't look as bad as it might - I had a bit of a flylady moment on Saturday, as it was DS's 16th birthday Sunday, so we had all the family to visit.
    See you later...

ps. have hung the washing out this morning, but what looked like a promising morning is now beginning to look as though some rain might appear...

    (((hugs)))
  • Morning everyone

Joannasmum, what a terrible thing to happen to you yesterday  I couldn't believe someone would just walk into your house and do that. Hope today goes better:grouphug:

I think it was me who mentioned starting a lunchbox menu thread .Needless to say I haven't:o I will get round to it. i must start jotting down what I put in the boxes or I will forget.

Just waiting for ds1's lift to arrive. When he's gone I have 2 other children to walk to school. It's working out really well as they go and play with my other 2 (They're in the same classes- the boy in ds2's and the girl in dd's). So I have at least half an hour of peaceful pc time before we go to school.

Must do my baking for the school tuck shop today - cranking up the flapjack and muffin factory :D

    See you all later:)

(((((((((((((((Joannasmum)))))))))))))) It's such an invasion of privacy and violation that I'm not surprised you are still feeling tearful. I hope this all comes back on them and they get to feel the same way you do.

We used to have a little Skoda, not an Octavia though, always wanted one of those, very beautiful cars. I think the knocking of Skodas has pretty much died off as they are fantastic quality.

Flyladying for me this morning and then I am going to the hairdressers! I thought I would have to cancel my appointment but DH has a surprise day off so I can go. I'm having my hair permed as I love having curly hair but mine is as straight as a die. My parents gave me the money to have it done as I was feeling frumpy and old.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning! - (is it morning???)

after the rough nites sleep due to DD waking up, getting in our bed, fidgeting and kicking etc (you know!)
I took the kids to bed last nite about 8 and woke up 10.30:eek: - so it was too late to tackle the ironing pile that time of night!

Yes its raining here too, supposed to have thunder showers last nite but i didnt hear that.

Got a new printer last night as the other one died! Also my items on ebay end in about 3 hours - so it will be exciting watching what happens!

joannasmum - Dont know what happened but from peoples reactions i can guess - oh dear that is terrible - they want to bring back chopping peoples hands off ! i hope something turns up soon. Its a horrible feeling though.
    xx

Time to try and step over Giant Thomas Train Set over the floor and get everyone ready for the day!

will pop back later, enjoy your day everyone!

    Morning all

Hugs to all who haven't slept, have PMT or just need one

Spent the first two and a half hours at work trying to get my PC to work. Think it's there now!!!

Leaving early today as it's the second anniversary of my Dad passing away, so could really do without being in the office. Got to take some flowers up the cemetry. My friend's taking me out to lunch to keep me occupied, then spending time with my sis this evening. Can't believe it's two years. Then again at this time two years ago, I still had my Dad, had I known only for a few more hours, I'd have done and said different things.

Anyway, guess I'd better do some work
