Morning everyone
Thought I'd get today's thread going since I can't sleep (don't worry, not going to start banging on about that!).
It's Day Two of Moggins' Flylady Challenge. I made quite good progress yesterday, and have almost conquered the large pile of paperwork which has been begging to be filed for months and months. It's my hotspot and blindspot all rolled into one.
There was quite heavy rain here late afternoon and all evening, so that thrwarted my plans to go hunting for more blackberries, and to try and locate a plum and/or apple tree. If it's fine today I'll go out a bit earlier. I also have to get hold of some stockings to drain the juice from the fruit to make jelly. I was going to use some old tights but just couldn't bring myself to do that even though they are 100% clean. So I'll be shopping for some sexy pop socks or similar in the morning.
I've got a few jobs I want to apply for - luckily just the sort you send your cv in for - normally over here they are quite stringent about candidates filling in application forms - so that should be a fairly fast exercise. I just need to compose some snappy covering letters to grab their attention.
So, that is all the excitement in SnowyOwl land...not very exciting at all is it?
Joannasmum...any word about your car?
Have a fabulous day everyone.

Better go and get DD up from snoozing.
Breakie: Cornflakes
Lunch: Cheese Sarnie
Dinner: Gammon, mash and veg with pineapple gravy

Joannasmum - what can I say
Must rush, small person wanting breakfast.
DD, after 2 years of having school lunch, has decided that the new regime of "healthier" lunches is boring, so wants pack-ups. Today she has a chicken, creme fraiche and lettuce wrap, hm muffin, apple from the garden and juice. :T There was some chat recently about starting a lunchbox thread. Did it happen, and if so can someone point me in the right direction? :A
I get my new big desk today, but no word on my new laptop

penpen - wish my children would eat lovely sounding wraps, DS will still only eat jam sandwiches (but HM jam and bread!!!!) still think they are the only packs that dont have chocolate or crisps tho!!!! Hope the laptop turns up soon x
Hugs and hellos to anyone i cross with, and who follow xxx
Well, only one here today, and she is at nursery this morning, so a couple of hours to myself!!! Well, it wouldve been but i had a company ring yesterday asking if i could do a mystery shop, so i do have to do that, but hopefully shouldnt take too long, it will just be nice to sit and have a cuppa and some breakfast later wihout worrying what the little ones are doing!!!!
Apart from DSs football training later (would hope it would be cancelled due to rain, but i bet its not!!!) thats all for today, but im sure something will pop up!!!
Have a lovely day everyone,

Woke up early so on here with a cup of tea.
Washing is on the line outside and another load is in the machine.
Dishwasher is emptied.
My home made loaf was so popular yesterday that I made another one last night - experimented as I was running out of white bread flour so used half and half white and wholemeal bread flour.
Does anyone else find that once they have a "hiccup" with their bread or any other dish thay they "lose confidence" and then nothing goes right?
Fingers crossed that the last few days of success continue.
Snowy
