The day has suddenly gone seriously downhill. Some little f****r has walked into my house and taken my keys and nicked the car off the drive. I cant beleive it feel sick that DD and me were in the lounge at the back of the house. Dont care about the car but there stuff in there like afew of DD toys and the car seat plus my lovely buggy. Does anybody know if the insurance pay out in these circumstances the keys were in the kitchen on the hook. How dare people take what not theres we work damn hard for our money.

Someone rang my local radio station today because the exact same thing had happened to them! Its sickening! As you say, we all work hard to get these things and then someone comes along and thinks they can just help themselves! Even if the insurance do replace everything its still hassle for you that you could probably do well without! I hope they catch the b******ds!!! Scuse my French, but these people just get away with these things again and again!

Hi just got back form work and had a quick flick through the thread.

Joannasmum thats dreadful for you both, I hope you get it back!

Had a bit of news from one of my closest friends(13 years!), turns out after enormous financial difficulties which included repossession that she and her family are moving back to West Brom. This is about an hour away from me, not a vast distance I know but I will miss our afternoon coffees while the kids are at school.:(

    Off for tea now.
    Back later!

((((((((((((((((((HUGS JO)))))))))))))))))))) its horrible when this happens, I hope you have called in the police......Where I live is very dodgy, we never leave the door unlocked, I always lock it espeicailly if I am going to be upstairs. We just have one door on the side which opens into the hall, if we are in the living room with the door shut anyone could walk in to the hall and then into the kitchen....when its very hot we do occasionally leave the door open, but in that case we sit with the living room door open so we can see if anyone tries to walk in................all you can do is ring your insurance company and see what they have to say.

I hope your insurance company pay out. It's not as if you left the car unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

With any luck the police will catch the scum who did this and they will get more than they bargained for.

((((((((((((((((((((joannasmum)))))))))))))))) That is bl**dy awful. There are some evil barstewards in the world. They must have known it was a family car with a childseat in the back. No one seems to give a toss about anyone else in this world anymore, it seems to be every man for himself.

Thank god for old stylers that is all I can say, it's only you lot that make the world a brighter place sometimes.

 Thats terrible Joannasmum - I hope you will manage ok without the car and the buggy until the insurance company do pay out. At least you and yours are safe and if all else fails I tend to trust in "what goes around comes around" to know that the little sh** will get their comeuppance.
