  • morning

gosh you are ready to start early moggins. I'm up. Just about. I've made sure that i have put away last nights dishes so that when i get in tonight i am ready to do something.

Had a carp nights sleep. DH felt ill, so we kept waking each other up. I feel so achey. My hands feel like i have been working with a power tool. I've probably been slept with them tensed up. I did scrub the 3 piece suite yesterday, but i don't think its from that.

I'll be with you all after work, but i've got to go and do a day there first. wishing you all luck.

    Michelle. xx

Happy Birthday for yesturday PP, hope the roast beef turned out yummy.

In my attempt to get organized, the washing that I put in last night has been hung out, lunch boxes are made and I'm dressed:eek:

After dropping DD off at school, talking DS for his toe re-dressed and inspected but it seems to be healing nicely as he has managed to wear his shoes over the weekend instead of sandles which he has been wearing for about six weeks.

Front room carpet needs a deep clean so will dig out the machine and purchase some fluid, never again will I have light coloured carpets:doh:

:grouphug: to all that need one
    Take care

    :hello: Gooooooood Morning, OS'ers :D:D:D

Been a busy bee so haven't had time to read and catch up with all the doings and happenings, so a global ((hug)) to all who need/want them.

I thought I'd have a bit more 'available' time when the boys went back to school, but, tempus fugit!

It was a lump-in-the-throat moment when both lads were dressed and ready for the off in their smart uniforms. Yes, despite planning otherwise, I was still taking up hems the night before :o D11yo was excited and really enjoyed his first day/week  He's been very good at doing his homework .. apart from the book coverings, that's fallen to me to do - which, I honestly don't mind doing, but now they both have all their books to be covered, it's a LOT! :rotfl: Still, keeps me out of trouble.

We were visiting friends after school last Wednesday (d11yo proudly showed off his uniform) and then stripped down to go to the field at the back of the woods to gather blackberries. D-LISH!

Tackled the garden this weekend and I'm already planning where to grow our herbs, fruits and veggies.

B: Yogurt with fruit and oats
    L: prawn pasta salad
    D: Jacket potato meal

Spent over an hour yesterday cleaning out emails - I'm not sure which I dislike more, housework or PC housework  :rotfl: I know it wouldn't take as long if I did it all regularly, so I'll just have to add that to my To Do List on a more regular basis :o How often do you do yours?

Right, lots to do today and not a lot of time to get it all done in.

    Have a great day

What a beautiful morning :D I wish I didn't have to go to work, I've a million and one things I could be getting on with  Never mind - at least it pays the mortgage ;)

Breakfast is all done, lunches are all made, dinner this evening will be....... chicken with a garlic butter topping and rice with mushrooms, onions and peas.

Right well I've still got mine and DD's hair to do, and slap on my war paint :D

    Bye for now
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Morning All

You must be getting sick of hearing about this but foot and ankle are still quite a mess and hurt like hell when I tried to drive so no work for me today. Instead MIL is coming to take us to the toddler group that she normally attends with DD on a Monday. Hope shes still going to do the chasing or I'm in real trouble.

The plan for the rest of the day is make some pies with a pound of some sort of stewing meat that I found in the bottom of the freezer after its been in the slow cooker all day. Will have another load of ironing to do and a couple of loads for the washer, oh the excitment.

Got to go LO is stiring.

Bore da pawb! (Good morning everyone) Yakky da Shez :D

The house is again a tip, but who cares - I've a whole morning to tackle it :D

Boys are arguing as per usual, DS1 is still needing to be kicked out of the shower after 20 mins (They're on a time table for 10 mins each) He did for once manage to get up on his own - in fact he was the first down, and had his breakfast first..... nothing to do with the fact that he knew that we didn't have much milk though (and he had a huge bowl full of museli that got drowned.... grrr). I had meant to water it down, but he got there first.

Collected my composter yesterday, but I think they may have given me the wrong lid - I really can't get it to go on properly. It's got a ridge that is supposed to fit inside the main part - but it's a real pig to get in. Good as my intentions are, I can see the novelty wearing off pretty sharpish if I have to fight with this thing in the rain.... It's a 'rotol' composter - anyone else have any experience of this one? I've got the smaller one (220L) - perhaps they've given me the lid to the larger one (300L)?

Right, best go [strike]shout[/strike]encourage the boys to get a move on.

    (((HUGS))) Snowy

Birthday greetings to Church mouse's DS, hope he has a great day.

Catowen - Hope all goes well if you have the inspection

Queenie ((hugs)) nice to see you back online

Moggins and all doing the F/L challenge today - Good luck all :D

    Kaz x

Ps Edit to say (((HUGS))) to Joanas mum too, sorry I haven't read what happened to your foot/ankle. I'll have a read through later if I get chance, but I hope it gets better quickly for you x
