Hi everyone,
Happy birthday PP and many happy returns.
ScottishSpendaholic, don't feel that you aren't os enough to post I'm nowhere near as OS as most people on this board or as I would like and I dare say a lot of us are like that.
No time to post more, will try again later.

Afternoon everyone
Happy Birthday Penny Pincher
I have been up since 9am I promise. I've just got sick of the clutter in my kitchen and have spent 4 hours clearing out all my cupboards and decluttering the worktops. Now everything I don't need is consigned to the cellar and everything I do has it's proper place. I don't know what to do this afternoon, DH won't go blackberrying and DD is supposed to be tidying her room so I can actually get to her bed to change it and sort her quilt out as it's all gone to the bottom of the cover.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Just been blackberrying and will make a couple of pies later.
Making home made bread to have with potato salad, roasted peppers, chicken kiev or salmon fillets with parsley sauce and cauliflower and broccoli.
Washing is hung out on the line and will need to iron DDs uniform later.
Intend to have a quiet day as i have not been sleeping very well.
Happy Birthday penny Pincher:bdaycake:"This site is addictive!"

:bdaycake: Happy birthday PP, hope you
are having a great one!!!!!!:bdaycake:
We have just got back from the boot sale, a disaster, we were up at 5am and at the venue for 5.45. one car park was full so we were sent round to the smaller one, when we got parked we were told that we could not set up until the huge meat wagon that auctions meat had come in........which it did at 6.45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so it was well after 7am before we got going.......now please excuse me but I am going to rant......I am all for people saving cash but why do our ethnic minoroties think that we should sell them stuff for peanuts??????? We have a very large population from very many creeds and countries, our is the city with the highest ethnic population and by 2010 it is thought that more than 75% 0f the population will be of ethnic origin.....so the natives will be in the minority. It makes me so cross when you have things for sale at reasonable prices and they want you to lower the price to such an extent you wonder why you are standing at all. I had two very good quality large suitcases one for £8 the other for £6 both had wheels on, one lady offered me £2:D for the largest one and could not understand why I told her I would rather take it home!!!!!!!!!!!
We took £55 gross £47 nett, which is better than nothing...........but........
Enough........OH is putting the stuff we brought home in the garage, I told him I would rather give it away, so its going to the charity shop later in the week.......I will certainly never do another boot sale at our local shopping centre, will be going to one of the more upmarket ones the next time when people apprciate whats on offer.
Am feeling tired, so may have a little nap, but need to do the veg for supper first, otherwise we will get nothing to eat tonight.....
It was very misty and cold first thing, but its burnt off and its a fine warm afternoon, just a bit of a breeze blowing......no washing to do.....
I had a disaster with yogurt over night, it does not seem to have set properly, have put the yogurt maker back on to see if it will set, it will get eaten, but it may be rather sloppy!!!!!
Right, cup of tea here I come, enjoy the rest of the day.............

DH has cleared out the shed and found my Anthony Worrall Thompson Breville FP3 food processor :j Spent a good hour bleaching and scrubbing it and it looks like new - only problem is that I can't find the manual that came with it and it has loads of attachments - if any one has a copy or could let me know how some of the different bits work I'd really appreciate it

So tell me. Is it just in my house, or does everyone find a pair of Dracula teeth in their washing-up?
:rotfl:
I've just made a plum/apple/blackberry/greengage crumble and a chicken/sweetcorn/leek quiche - and there, in the washing up pile, was a set of Dracula teeth.
:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
Afternoon all
It's "us" again.
I dragged Nels off to the QVC outlet centre, which she assured me would be carp - but today it wasn't for a change. I've bought myself a Magic Bullet (your fault moggins), a mini icecream maker/mixer thingy, a rather nice jewellery box (xmas pressie for neice) and 3 sooooper dooooper corkscrews (xmas pressies too) All for under £50 too!!
Guess what Nels bought........... :rotfl:
Then we went and upped our veg intake (for real) by having a lovely sunday lunch out. Am just doing some more business planning before I have to go home but I think there's an accident on the M6 so not setting off yet.
Poshpaws - not an entirely unusual experience, the dracula teeth .... unless there aren't any small boys in your household

Not unusual at all round here! I found a dowell stick , about 10cm long, with a 6cm spike in on end, covered in dried on poster paint (various colours) in my kitchen drawer. Everyone denies knowledge
