Not being very productive at work today
Quick question.... what is "worth" putting on ebay??? I have a lot of clothes that are in really good nick... but I was wondering whether to ebay them or just bag them up for the charity??
I would love to think I would get back in them.. but two children later.. I doubt I will ever be a size 8 again
Thanks in advance guys.

Clothes dont do particularly well on ebay unless you are talking about really high end stuff. Is it worth the hassle for very little money
I would only sell bigger stuff really(just sold my pram, £155:beer: ) . Pigpen ebays everything that isnt nailed down i think so i would ask her advice.

If you do a search for "completed listings" in the search options at the left hand side - that should give you an idea what sells and for how much... I also find that offering worldwide postage helps (for most things is comparable with 1st class rec) Ebay are offerning "free" gallery all summer which always helps with clothes. If you are offering clothes world wide make sure the size in the title is 8UK for example or you might end up with an upset American!
umm so far... taken the kids to school, cleared breakfast things and made some brownies... ok, ok I am off. DH is on his plane now

Morning all
Back to normal from today and back to work tonight....
Wiped the kitchen cupboard doors, worktops, small and big appliances etc last night so I just had normal S&S this morning. Dusted and polished in living room and then vacuumed right through downstairs and then did the stairs.
Took the dog out for a (very sedate) walk. There are a few tree branches down from yesterday's weather.
Waiting for Asda delivery now.
How old is your Springer Soappie? Ours will be 13 next week.0 -
Well, I'm feeling a lot better now the brickworks out and nothing's fallen down...
Polly - my springer will be 8 at the end of next month.
Another doubtlessly boring update on the window - there's one ginormous hole where the big sash used to be and the side window's in. And it's quite cold and damp but I'm refusing to put the heating on for it all to rush out into the garden.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Your garden looks lovely soappie, it'll be really nice for you to be able to go straight out into it.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Your house hasn't collapsed yet soappie?? .. lol.. That is a lovely view from your frenchdoors-to-be!What's been happening in Hull?
I'm assuming it's something to do with football?
What do you mean what's been happening.. where have you been all week???
Hull City were in the playoffs at the weekend for promotion to the premier league.. they played Bristol City who have beaten them 8 times this season.. and Hull City WON!!! 1 - 0 and Dean Windass was the scorer.. the oldest player in the premier league now at 39 and he was signed at 18/19 .. I remember the big deal when he was signed 20 years ago... they are now on about what to do to commemorate his achievement.
We've had all weekend celebrations here.. there has been no thuggery.. the fans (Bristol City as well) cinducted themselves fantastically at home and at Wembley.. a real credit to the reputation of English Football fans.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

If they are 'cheap' things charity shop them.. stuff from catalogues (unless designer makes) primark, unbranded etc doesn't sell.. (did that sound really rude??.. it wasn't meant to.. sorry) Brand names.. Hooch, Next, M&S, etc does sell.
Sometimes I am sneaky and put a 'bundle' of the better stuff together (inc unbranded stuff) and add 1 'high street brand' in so I can put it up in the title and sell the whole bunch!
Get as much in the title as possible
'black shoes size 5' won't hit as many searches as 'clarks ladies heeled black shoes pumps 5'.. the description only needs to be a description I hate the ones that waffle on how their dog likes them and they are so comfy on a plane and they were worn once to auntie Mavis's wedding.. who cares? .. short and to the point.. it saves time and most stuff is covered in the item specifics anyway so don't bother repeating yourself!
And yes.. if it isn't nailed down.. sell it.. even if you did eventually fit in that size again.. how 'dated' would the things be???LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Bah, LO decided she doesnt want to go to nursery as she doesnt feel well (she is actually ill). She is on the border as to whether i would send her or not anyway, i had her off all last week but thought she was a bit better this week. She was there yesterday but maybe she wasnt ready to go back
I thought it was chicken pox as it was doing the rounds, is it possible to have all the symptoms but no spots?? Will just have to work round her.
