Shell, you're right, the flyladies are wonderful people and I'm truly grateful for all the offers of help to get curtains but I really wouldn't want to put anyone to the bother.

Dusty - you're right about Habitat - online they seem to do 280cm ones. And
    :T*Hurrah* :T
there is a Habitat in town. I shall take a trip out next Saturday.

And apologies to Mudbath for using the I*** word again but (and should I be worried by 'fessing up on this - does it mean I really DON'T have a life?) I've never been into one of those stores in my life! Apparently they are opening one about 35 miles away from me in 2009 - but that's a bit long to wait for curtains!

and Mudbath - AnW is right - the leaves are poisonous. But, if it's a stick you've bought from the supermarket, all will be edible - even the green bit at the bottom.

Right, what have I done with today's list? That's enough I think. The important stuff (like digging out some cheques to pay in tomorrow and paying the taxman) has been done. The rest is non-urgent. I think I'll take a G&t into the garden and catch the last little bit of warmth and crochet some more plarn for half an hour before I need to put the spuds on to roast.

Feel I haven't really got anywhere today and I have no motivation now to more my butt!

I've had enough of homework/coursework for the day - I could never go back to studying!

Going to phone sis for a catchup and then do some ironing.

DS3 on inset tomorrow so without his brothers/Dad to entertain him that means I get to do very little. He has spent the last 30 minutes begging me to take him bowling tomorrow. We only did it at centre parcs 3 days ago. I know I don't do enough with him so should do it and feel awful that I need to try to find the motivation somewhere.
