Suppose Id better move my backside off this chair. need to ring Npower about getting my meter sorted again0 -
I'll slap you if you slap me...I need to get off my bum and do today's list, tidy up big time and put all the charity shop stuff in the front room so it can get taken tomorrow. We took another boot load last saturday but we've still got a house full of carp to go.
Question to all clever people...how come i'm flinging left right and centre, i'm not buying anything new and yet my house has more carp now than it had when I started this flying lark? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr xx0 -
HHC 230 until 3pm? That will make me do something...anyone joining me xx0

Mum normally turns up thinking she has told me she is coming to stay - it wouldn't be a problem but she stays in hotels a lot for work and expects the same here  and is fussier than everyones kids put together when it comes to food :rotfl:
ok gtg no word from DH I guess I should check there were no delays before I pick up the kids, catch you all later!0 -
Mudbath.. have a *SLAP* .. have you moved??
My carp theories on carp.
Theory one
1. You notice the house looking cluttered and decide to take steps to shift some of the junk..
2. full of motivation you empty 1 cupboard
3. You discover a pile for charity shop, a pile for the bin, a pile you WILL get round to putting on ebay and a few bits you are keeping but can't actually think why you are keeping them.
4. You put the pile you are keeping away, the other 3 piles are left in visible places so you remember to get round to dealing with them.
5. Then you get bored and ignore the other 3 piles.
6. Result.. mess everywhere!
repeat on a 4 week rota.
Second theory
1. You have a huge pile of junk
2. you remove and dispose of the top layer of junk in a frenzy of motivation
3. The stuff a layer further down is no longer compressed by the weight of the stuff on the top and expands in size as it plumps itself up again.
4. result.. the pile NEVER goes down!! .. and think how flat that bike at the bottom of the pile must be!(I once found a wafer mouse at the bottom of a pile!! Loke a pressed flower... ROFL)...
In short.. you rush about like a loony every weekend and get nothing in return.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Ok, this is what i've done;
- cleared out the medicine cupboard (ds and myself on lots of meds so once in a while it needs a good sort out)
- put a mirror up in the kitchen that's been waiting to go up weeks
- taken two suitcases up to DHs study (he went away weekend before last!!)
- taken two boxes to DHs study that were in living room (stuff he's sorted from charity boxes that I wanted to chuck!!)
- emptied basket at bottom of stairs and put stuff in right place
- cleared worktops in the kitchen
- sorted out coats in hall (and thown one out that had broken zip)
The place is starting to look a little, tiny bit tidier.
Another HHC - 330 until 4pm? xx0
