Shopping delivered and put away now. Three packets of Tetley tea bags which weren't mine but the delivery lady said keep 'em. So I did!

Post came while I was putting the shopping away and when I looked later there was a letter for the next road, so the dog and I have had another walk to deliver it to the right house. Normally I give it back to the postman but he had long gone. If it had been raining it would have gone back in the postbox another time:D

She's is zonked out on the floor now.....

What do you mean what's been happening.. where have you been all week???

Hull City were in the playoffs at the weekend for promotion to the premier league.. they played Bristol City who have beaten them 8 times this season.. and Hull City WON!!! 1 - 0 and Dean Windass was the scorer.. the oldest player in the premier league now at 39 and he was signed at 18/19 .. I remember the big deal when he was signed 20 years ago... they are now on about what to do to commemorate his achievement.

We've had all weekend celebrations here.. there has been no thuggery.. the fans (Bristol City as well) cinducted themselves fantastically at home and at Wembley.. a real credit to the reputation of English Football fans.

Oh :D Congrats to Hull then. I hate football, and luckily my DH hates it as much as I do :D

    Hi folks

    Hope you are all well.

Polarbear, I hope you mean the dog is flopped out and not the postie!!

Got a man working in the house today, just been back from work to see how he is getting on, and he is fine, only 1 cup of tea, so that has to be good, but cats not happy, found my shy 3 legged friend right at the back of the garden and soaking wet, so took him back in doors, dried him down with the tea towel (I know not very hygienic, but it was the only thing to hand) he is now hiding behind the sofa, the other cat is according to the work man, being nosey and keep going to see what he is up to!!

I have a sort of open plan house, so as such there is no where to shut them in, except for the 2 rooms the work man is working in, not very helpful.

Tonight, I will be removing the dust, hoovering, and replacing the furniture said work man has made / moved.

    Take away for dinner...........

    Will someone slap me please?

I feel like death in a box at the moment (man-flu.. I decided!!) MY mother rang.. can she host a 21st birthday BBQ for my sister in August.. at my house!!!!! Do I scream no chance at her??? Do I politely say.. fab idea but not here?... no.. divvy cow here goes 'oh yeah that should be fine!!'

Now I should (in theory) have the middle room decorated by then.. we have a gazebo.. a large garden.. the bouncy castle.. ;) .. the back room a large kitchen and a house chocca with junk!!!!!!!!!! This is worse than my usual level of decluttering.. of the people she is inviting.. 1 has 1 child of almost 10.. and I have my brood.. I feel a breakdown coming on even though it is 'only' May.

Does anyone need to visit for a 'flingfest'??

Wonder how much I can fit in the cpboard under the stairs!!

Of to run about like a headless chicken... and mop the blood off the kitchen floor where tiddles just assaulted DD4.. I love school holidays!!!
