Also got a book and an Audrey Hepburn DVD set. Lucky me...
Wonder how long it'll be before I can't resist anymore and start stitching it? I have *got* to finish my Grandma's christmas present first (yes, it's 2 months late. )
Brilliant :T The kit looks fab, I hadn't seen it before either. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Wow Maria, your scan pic makes me feel a tad broody... If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Morning all.
Thanks for the scan photo maria, you must be very excited. love the babies handbag too, good luck with it. I did a bib in a similar style last year and it was a nightmare, I had to stitch right into the bottom of the 'pocket'. Never again!!
Ruth, well done on hubby getting you the bra kit. I saw it advertised in Cross Stitch Crazy yesterday, it looks fab.
Misty, your japanese lady is stunning. Can't wait to see her completely finished. I'm sure you will keep motivated since she looks so lovely already.
Well, my Zebra Eye is still sitting waiting for me to pay it some attention. I seem to have so much to do lately, I'm never here to do any. However, only one more week of work then I have the week off to relax so I plan to do a lot then.
Today I am off to my parents to try again at upholstering the footstool my dad has made me. He brought it up a couple of weeks ago but forgot the staplegun so we couldn't do anything. At least I get to have another one of my mums roast dinners:T . And, I've dug out the cushion part of a Tigger cushion I stitched a few years ago so mum said she will put it together for me while I'm upholstering :A
Have a lovely day all.

Thanks to all who directed me to Quidco - £289.30 since Nov 09 :beer:0 -
hi, I have a bit more time on my hands at the moment so thought I might be able to start cross stitching, are there good free patterns around as money is tight, I think I might be able to borrow some aida from my mum, is the thread expensive or is it best to get kits?

Hi all,
Mistyblue - wonderul work.
How are you all getting on with your projects?
I've managed to (finally) finish one corner design of a UFO traycloth and about the start the 2nd (luckily only 2 altogether to do). Every week I help someone out with a Tree of Life project by stitching some leaves.0 -
I finally planned and stitched the details on a baby sampler today. Been putting it off for months, so I'm glad it's finished now. Will post a photo when I've had chance to take one. She's 6 months old now, so it was about time I did it!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Morning all
Well, I have done 2 xmas bits-well it was snowing as I sat doing them so it didn't feel that strange doing them in Feb
-Im doing them inbetween stints on my mums victorian lady one ...
They have loads of metallic threads on them which made them a bit slower to finish... Im going to add beads from my jewellery making kit later on
They should be cards but the fabric is about 6"X7" so I'm thinking of turning them into either gift bags or scented cushions, there are 4 more in the set..and I think each one has enough threads left to do a 2nd one and then Im going to do some different colour schemes using some of the loads of threads I have stored :T
You will need to click on the pic to get a decent image.... the bottom one is actually on white -but I took the pic in the evening
I love seeing what everone else is doing -but Im trying to be good and get through my stash BEFORE i buy anymore..
I have several floral ones that hubby has got me for anniversaires etc instead of real flowers-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

I did the stocking one for my mum for christmas and yes, those threads make it slow going. They look fab, though! My mum did the hat & mittens one for me. I still have it on the mantlepiece because it's too lovely to put away yet.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
