Hi everyone. I had a lay in this morning and then couldn't get on pc because my DD was on it. So i have finally caught up with the thread.
((((hugs)))) to all who need or want one-particularly smoky and pen-pin
Right, better go and make a cuppa whils I decide which jobs need doing first.
betheebee: I know what you meant last night-not you weren't embarrassing at all, I think it's great how we all support one another and how friendly this place is-especially as most of us have never met. Pity we all seem to live so far apart...
Anyway off to make that cuppa!!!

Washing's on the line. I want to clean out the guinea pigs but two of them are asleep and I feel mean waking them up  :D so it'll have to wait.

:T :T for a certain OSer who has offered to help me out with something I need. I won't name her in case she gets embarassed, so I'll just refer to her as donny-gal :A :D

    Morning.

    Happy Birthday Charlies-Mum. :D

    Hugs to MrsMix.

I was awake several times during the night and as a result now feel shattered.
N9eav, what a shock, well done on the rescue and I hope the couple recover and maybe learn a bit of sense.

Bigs hugs to those in need, those with useless exs and those with rubbish tenants and lodgers.

    Catch up later.
    Love The Twit. :grouphug:

Ps, have I missed Mioliere's post this morning

Hester, oh dear, that did make me smile.... i can just imagine bags being stuffed here, there & everywhere....

Candygirl - I don't think you are the She-Devil (who he has just left) as you are too nice, so he can't be your exOH as well :) Some of them do make you wonder (yet I would still love another - nice - OH/DH.....)

BargainRzl, that's a good point about alcohol being in some meds, I didn't think about that. I do think the limit could be lowered drastically though, so that people couldn't have a 'proper' drink as it were, and drive. It would save (hopefully) some heartache and others like N9eav having to deal with the consequences of clearing up after it all.

    Good morning:hello:

Happy Birthday Charlie's Mum_party_ Hope you have a lovely day!

Catznine and Beemused - i don't suppose you'll see this, but have lovely hols!

N9eav - what a dreadful thing to happen! I do hope you can get a campaign going, it certainy doesn't sound as though that bit of road should be 60mph:eek:

Sheldon - welcome to the Daily thread!

Mrs Mix - we were all thinking of you yesterday, so glad it went as well as possible.

Stefejb - how exciting for your DD! She will be fine, and very well looked after on the flight:)

Betheebee - Hooray, so glad things are moving for you!:T

((((HUGS)))) to Smokybabe and also to everyone with anoying relatives or exes

Having terrible trouble typing this morning, feel very uncoordinated and keep having to go back and correct typos and spelling mistakes:rolleyes: , a bit dizzy too so wil have to ask the doc for some anti-vertigo tablets on Tuesday if it keeps on - hopefully it won't get as bad as last time when I fell over in the garden when hanging out the washing:D

My new chair was delivered at 7.25 this morning - the driver rang to say they were "5-10 minutes away" and thankfully DH felt well enough to get up and do the honours, coming back to bed afterwards - he's getting up now. My old armchair is now stuck in the middle of the living room as there's nowhere else to put it - DH rang a charity yeterday and left a message asking them to collect it, but we won't hear from them until at least Tuesday so it looks like being a bit of a 'mare until then:p It arrived in a big cardboard box too, so that's something else to recycle.

must go, really don't feel at all with it, love to everyone:lovethoug

Hi all - very late on here this morning because DS1 has been round with his seedlings for me to look after while he is away with the family in Iceland - his BIL is getting married there. DH is now mowing the lawns so I have some spare minutes.

BETH - I haven't read the rest of yesterday's thread - I will in a mo; I gather it's good news re your ops? I hope so.

DONNY-GAL - my DS2 has always kissed me in front of anyone - he has never cared what his friends think! He is very affectionate and gives me huge hugs every time he sees me. DS1 is a little more reticent but I dragged a kiss out of him this morning seeing as he's flying tomorrow! They both tell me they love me when they text so I consider myself very lucky!

PENPIN - hope you're home now and recovering?

SMOKY - thoughts with you and the LOs today.

MRSMIX - (((hugs))) for you and glad you got through yesterday.

    Happy Birthday to Charlie's Mum!:bdaycake:

    CHURCHMOUSE - :hello: :hello: :hello:

N9EAV - what a horrible thing to happen; glad you were able to help. That happened to us the day my DGS was born and the road was blocked by rescue vehicles both ends and I was desperate to see the baby! It was dark when the crash happened. DH helped - his portable halogen spotlight came in really handy for the paramedics. The driver was one of DS2's friends and he used to drive like a maniac - fortunately, he wasn't badly hurt and his driving has calmed down since! Anyway, luckily, the mess was cleared up in time for me to go and meet my DGS.

We're off to our friend's surprise 50th party this afternoon - it's a barbecue and the weather is really teasing us at the moment. It's mainly warm and sunny but will go just a bit cloudy now and again!

Anyway, can't think of anything else at the moment - yes, I've almost run out of words!

I'll catch up with you all later.

    Have a great day, everyone.

day off today , am just dying my hair:eek: and waiting for DHs racing pigeons to fly home from Poole in Dorset.

DS1 is overjoyed to have my old car on the road, he's been off the road since December but DH and I will be nervous wrecks again when he's out and about!
DS1 is off to Gay Pride in Birmingham tomorrow as part of his job:eek: his new job title is Broadcast and Media Co-ordinator!

Got the BM on andf also the WM. We were given a load of free fruit and veg and a dozen eggs yesterday from where my sister works that they were going to bin:rolleyes: - our good fortune:D
