I could go on, and on, and on...._pale_

Pink, as an F1 fan I knew Lewis drives a Maclaren Mercedes. Wasn't around during the war so can't answer that one! Know what you mean about the questions, although my 9 yr old thinks he knows it all!
Have just dropped my all knowing 9 yr old off with his Dad so have a just over a week to myself, shame I am starting a course on Monday (yes on the bank holiday - that's the Army for you, they just don't care!!) So will be up to my eyeballs in homework - anybody know about double entry book keeping?
Sat here watching pre-recorded F1 Quals with a beer - uninterrupted - bliss:rotfl:
Anyway hugs to those in need, and well done to those deserve it! and don't get me started on ex OH's (although we were only together for 4 months, just long enough to get me pregnant and run).
Have a lovely weekend.

evening all,
Had a lovely day, tidied through this morning, then nipped to Mr T for nibbles for tonight, we have friends comming for drinkies, I just go some nice cheeses, and cold meats with dips and crisps, so nothing too difficult, I also got some mini breaded camembert, which just need heating through on the oven.
We then went for a long walk in the woods, little dog is tired out, and we saw several deer, and a very young fox.
Well better go and get food ready, have good evenings all xx0 -
Tea is standard saturday night HM pizza. OH's DD1 may have a friend to stay, but DD2 is out at a party. Looking forward to Doctor Who as usual!

Hi there
Neave - so sorry 2hear about another accident last night. My husband before he retired was very big in Scotland Road Safety and would advocate 20 is plenty for a lot of areas. Not managed to keep up today as I have been really busy in the garden. Have totally turned over the soil, watered and have spent all my Garden Club tokens (£55) buying new pots, some geraniums and some busy lizzies. Off to B&Q to get the cheap and cheerful tomorrow. Just back garden rockery to weed and then I will be sorted.
I know someone is celebrating their birthday today -apologies - the birdbrain has kicked in from this morning. Hope you have had a lovely day.
Thinking about PenPin and Smoky.
Lots of love to everyone else.

Thank you Ceridwen & Hester - I shall let you know when I've got something up & running.... confessions of a slummy mummy perhaps?! lol
Grumpy children's club definitely needed, had another big row with mine cos oldest 2 were beating 7 bells out of each other (aged 16 & nearly 15...) so I said we were'nt going out for a meal after all if they were going to act like 2 year olds. Which led to oldest disapearing to bedroom (good, meant it was quiet) and middle DD wailing & much gnashing of teeth for ages. I stuck to my guns thoughShouted back at them & then cried - obviously it had an effect as middle & youngest are now being very nice.... Oldest I think has gone to sleep apparently....
I did explain to them that they weren't the only ones cross that their father has let them down again, but behaving like that & taking it out on me really doesn't help either.
Anyway, I went & got some chinese when things calmed down a little & my mum came & joined us as she would have been coming out with us. I have said that things are not going to carry on like this though....Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
