RedRuby - a friend of mine picked up a load of cameras at a refuse tip and sold some of them on eBay for lots of dosh! A couple went for over £200! I'll join you in the Vino Collapsio, although we'll be drinking again tomorrow night at our friend's 50th birthday party! I think I recklessly offered to be 'Des' for the night so I'll only have one glass of the falling down stuff there!

TWINK - do you take in ironing by post? I'll start packing mine up right now!

TATTYCATH - glad DD felt well enough to go to school.

Well, after a rotten forecast today has been lovely - I do hope it stays that way for the rest of the weekend especially as it's a bank holiday!

I've just looked at the lawn and it needs cutting again - I only did it a couple of days ago, too. Perhaps I can talk DH into doing it now that he has three days off!

Anyway, I'd beter go now and get the washing off the line.

    Have a lovely evening, everyone.

    Afternoon

Registered as self-employed for my freelance work this afternoon, so there's that done.

Heard there might be a job going in Spain in the not too distant future. Heard this many times before, but hoping one day it might come true.

Mum's looking into doing card making to keep her busy.

Having an early dinner of sausages as I'm heading out for the evening with some work mates. Not really feeling like it as a bit short on cash so will drink very slowly! Meeting another friend in the morning. Think I'll get the bus to save faffing about parking. Need to wrap up a present and write some cards before I see her.

    Just doing my daily clicks.

    Hope everyone's ok

    Evening all

Thanks for all your kind thoughts for my son, he is getting better by the day thank goodness.

Made a pasta/chorizo thingy from a recipe I found on the net, quite nice if I say so myself, will do that again. Have one portion left over to freeze unless hubby starts picking at it later tonight!!

Was taking my mum shopping tomorrow but just came off the phone from her and she says one of the lifts are broken and with her lung cancer and emphysema she would never make the one flight of stairs to the other lift so she is royally peed off that she cant go out with me now. Shame, she only gets out once a fortnight when I get up there. Her lovely neighbour does her shopping for her all of the other time.

Lyndseyann lovely to hear that your daughter is so pleased about her certificate, what you said to her must have got through to her eventually then.

Welcome to the newbies, they make you very welcome here quite quickly :j

    Have a good night everyone
