Evening everyone

Still nursing a poorly knee, but it's better than yesterday

Had a lovely dinner using up leftovers from roast chicken, with HM cheese sauce and chives from the garden.

Spent the day entering competitions, so fingers crossed something will come of it.

Mum's got more flowers to plant this week and we're planning a day trip to the New Forest on Wedensday. Doggy's got to go back to the vet for another check up on his poorly ear.

Feeling a bit better now, needed to vent whatever it was I was feeling...anger, disappointment and worry.

Thanks for all the congratulations everyone! It doesnt seem real..... I have to keep looking at "the line"!!

Its really hard to keep it a secret tho, am telling my boss in a couple of weeks (when I'm 8 weeks) very early I know but I think they've got to do a risk assessment and I do have to lift things at work (so hopefully I'll be able to get out of doing that!)

Hi Guys

I am back. Well, the rain in Spain did fall on the plain and we are soaked. Two weeks and hardly any rays. However had a fantastic time with DD, DSI and 3 Dgs. What can I say but they treated me well but also I did my time with the boys - mostly taking DGS3 for walks in pram. He cut two top teeth when there and we didn't even need to give him a powder.

Don't know what going on but want to send love and hugs to you all.

I don't have a Paypal account - is it straightforward to set one up? Could someone point me in the right direction? I daren't ask OH, he thinks I spend too much time on here as it is, I think he'd be quite suspicious if I said I wanted to send someone on here some money!!

I was really chuffed earlier, OH's DDs were here, I'd made some hobnobs on saturday and they were in the cupboard, DD1 had a cinnamon one and said it was gorgeous! Now this is from someone who is quite a fussy eater, and pudding-wise she doesn't often have anything that isn't chocolate-related, so I didn't expect her to like oat-based biscuits! I'm really pleased.:D

I'm stopping now, my internet connection is really playing up, I just hope I can post this without it going down.

DS2 had GCSE maths today, got a revision session tomorrow for business studies then its Biology GCSE on Weds.

Had a weird email from DS1 today, have a suspicion he's trying to tell us something important about his life without actually saying it. Time will tell.

DH and I have made up after our disagreement so am pleased that things have got back to normal.

Have spoken to my best friend again tonight, her depression is not getting any better and she's going to try and see the doc tomorrow about more time off work. She is also seing her councillor so hopefully he will help her. Am quite worried about her, she spent years as an alcoholic and has done brilliantly so I'd hate her to go back there again.

OS - DH has been busy up the veggie garden and planted the sweetcorn , butternut squash etc that we bought yesterday.

2 days off now:j
