I had a lovely weekend with the Haribo’s and the rest of our family. Dad really enjoyed his birthday party and he brought tears to all our eyes because he was so delighted with the photograph we gave him of all the grandchildren.
The weather here is lovely today so I hope to spend more time in the garden.I’ve just been out to check on the beetroot I planted out yesterday and the slugs didn’t get them! :j
For tea tonight it’s a ready meal.Tesco’s extra special aromatic duck that was reduced from £4.98 to 60p……too good to walk past, so I bought three packs. Dinner for five for £1.80! Well that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!
I hope you all have a lovely Monday.

Hi everyone, bit late today as I stripped the 2 single beds and have the washing on the line. Have again emptied the twin bedroom as I am having a new carpet fitted.
Have been sorting out car insurance to include the EU as once I have had my ops we plan 3/4 weeks travelling abroad. Something to look forward to.
Thanks to you who sent wishes YKWYA. Sorry for being down last night, it's proberbly because I'm not sleeping and feel run down, exhausted etc.
Am going to pop down to our local carpet shop and buy the carpet.
Love and hugs to all. Beth x0 -
Hi everyone
Just a quickie - been to the drs this morning for some anti-biotics as it has now turned to sinusitis. Head singing well - still no voice.
Dad got back to the home at 11.30pm last night with no reported injuries found, and they rang just after 12 to say he was back and tucked up in bed. They haven't called yet, will be after them later.
Hugs to all
Kyle tried to MSN you.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
kyle, just had a thought. Many London hospitals will not allow flowers anymore. A shame I know. Perhaps you should check with the hospital first? Otherwise they'll have died at home before PP sees them. Certainly in the hospitals my family work in, it's a strict policy
If you want to avoid a long-distance telephone call, PM me with the details and I'll do it as a local call:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
