Morning peeps
it`s very cold this morning - almost frosty brrr!
Didn`t get off to a very good start today, went to clean my teeth and there was no toothpaste, went downstairs to make a cuppa and there was no milk
I had to get the spare toothpaste out of the holiday bag and search for a carton of long life milk which i didn`t think that we had but thankfully there was one right at the back of the cupboard.
I need to get a bit more organised.
Lovely paella for tea tonight and doggy walking later when i get home, didn`t sleep too well last night so i`m not firing on all 4 cylinders yet, only just over 3 hours sleep so i doubt i`ll be full of beans later.
I need to buy the sun newspaper today, in case anyone is interested there are supposed to be money of coupons in for Morrisons this week for up to £30 i`ll get the paper and see what thats all about.
Off to do some w**k, ((((HUGS)))) to all who need them today!
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

Morning all,
lovely here - just dropped oldest DD round the corner at school - they were going in at 7am for some sort of preparation class for one of their exams today, and that includes croissants etc for breakfastBeautiful day out there. Definite thaw here too - in the atmosphere, lol! :T (after all the rows at the end of the week re helping in the house...). Good luck to everyone else who has DD/DS's (or DGD/DGS) going through exams.
Had a nice day over in Bognor visiting my little sis yesterday, lovely to catch up with her = and found a 99p shop with lots of goodies. Nice to have a change of scene as well.
Last 4 placement days this week - last couple of visits to foster carers & lots of tidying up paperwork, plus sorting portfolio. Looking forward to a bit of a break, am very tired.
(((((hugs)))))) to all those needing them.
DG, I too would be asking questions, my nan "fell out" of a hospital bed up in Croydon a few years ago (this was a lady who was immobile, delerious & in pain with advanced cancer) so I simply emailed the ChiefExec & Patient Liaison, made my displeasure known & informed them I would be there in 2 hours (after driving up from Sussex) on the ward asking questions. When we got there my aunt couldn't work out why the sudden change in care..... I wasn't rude, simply pointed out facts & asked if they felt it would be acceptable if it was one of their relatives.
Hope all those brewing babies (of all descriptions!) are progressing well - congrats LoobyLoo!!! Any update from PippaD on a name or pic yet??
Martyn - you sound like a different manHow's "ya Julie"??

Morning one and all.
Another good day in more ways than one. Clear skies and sunny today but the best of that was earlier on. I got called out at 3.00 this morning for a power failure on the park and the sky was as clear as a bell. With all that's been happening lately, I'd forgotten how much I love stargazing. The power problem was fairly simple but it was great to see all the constellations riding the zenith and even better was the sight of the mighty Jupiter above the eastern horizon. I even managed 30 minutes with the binoculars
The hobnobs and scones turned out well last night which might score me a point or two 'coz "mi Julie" is coming down todayTo say I'm :j is a fairly accurate statement. Lord knows what else I'm doing today, I'm too piggin' excited to concentrate
Thoughts are with those in need and take care everyone.
