I've just totalled up my expenditure for my courses (including the purchase of a laptop today
 ) and its come to £322  Only I just boo-booed and transfered that amount from my bank account into my savings account (where I put the grant money from the OU so I don't spend it!) so I've just had to transfer twice the amount back to my bank account :rotfl::rotfl: I don't think doing financial things after 2 cans of Fosters is a good idea
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
PF - that poem is lovely, thank you for sharing.
AnWsMum - glad you survived and have a great holiday.
Soappie - welcome home and glad you had a great holiday.
The wedding today was lovely. Very different and exactly what our friends wanted under a lovely old tree in a church yard. A perfect afternoon and everything was made, cooked, given etc as wedding presents. Going to watch eurovision results as I don't have to think for that and go to bed.
Night all, have a nice weekend xx0 -
:rotfl: @ Eurovision results, nevermind, at least it's pretty predictable, politically. I am suprised that it's still going to be honest, and how half of the contestants don't end up 'nutted off' I don't know.
I did post a list earlier, I am sure I did, oh well here it is again
[strike] Bath boys + get them to bed
Make sandwiches, pack drinks and food into cool bag (try to fit it filled in fridge)
Sort spare clothes for boys
Sort my handbag out
Get something to eat [/strike]
Sort my clothes, mine, DPs and DSs
Find 4 disposable pull ups, coach tomorrow so no stopping every 2 mins so think they'll be best in one.
Go in the shower
Set several alarmsbecause I am useless at getting up
Line up bags next to door ready to go
Make sure dog leads, shoes etc are out ready
Hmm, oh dear, this really isn't good considering I need to do the rest before bed........One day I might be more organised...........

Guess i'm the only one still up then? Just back in from work, was a busy shift, had to go out for a drink afterwards as we had some terrible news during the shift. Thankfully our manager didnt tell us til after we had finished that one of our bartenders who had been off work sick having had a bone marrow transplant had died this afternoon. I'm absolutely devasted, he was only 31, life is very harsh and unfair sometimes. I've known him for 5 years and he was such a lovely guy, so very sad. I'm sitting here crying into my tea:o I just cant believe it, he was actually doing really well after his transplant
Sorry for such a downer of a post. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

That is ridiculous. Are you in East Central Scotland as well CS?0 -
Going to make a sponge later to try out my new oven. I only got it a few days before I went away so I haven't tried cake making in it yet. It's a fan oven - is it better to have a lower temperature or just to check it earlier than usual?
I've got a fan oven and always cook at 20 degrees lower than a receipe states. Unless of course it say fan 180 and I would cook it at 180. Hope that makes sense0 -
