They work slightly differently.

A default has to be removed after 6 years whether it has been satisfied or not. A CCJ can be re-added to your credit file after 6 years for another 6 years if it has not been satisfied.

When I renewed I opted for the C905. It is truly a great phone and the camera is excellent. They charged me £49 for it but applied a bill credit of £109

not the case a default can go round and round if the default has run its six years then sold on in theory it could stay on your file for ever as when it is sold it becomes a new debt!!

Claire, Uggs aren't cheaper in the US anymore... have you seen the exchange rate recently? When I was there it was 2 $ to the £. Now its 1.46!! :P I've never seen it that low before!

I got the N95 on orange last year, they tried charging me £100 for the phone on a £35 per month contract but then if I agreed to take the contract at £45 per month I could have the phone for free, and then 6 months later I just rang up and asked for my monthly plan to be reduced and they were fine. I wasn't aware i could do it that way but a friend of mine worked for a phone company and told me how to do it.

Really? I thought it had to come off 6 years after issue and that was that?
