Just applied for a Flybe card online and it says 'congratulations - your application has been accepted'. Does that mean the application has been successful as in 'I'm getting a car' or successful as it's passed over the web ok?!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Just read the thread about the Freeman's credit card, issued and serviced by vanquis. The interest rate is somewhat lower than the typical vanquis card and there is no annual fee but anyone who holds an existing vanquis card cannot get one.
I am paying off my existing vanquis card and cancelling it because the rates of interest have gradually increased (despite my good payment record) to just over 50% - would you believe? - and I pay , in addition a £25 yearly fee.
This may leave me free to try the freemans card - but even if it doesn't - the vanquis is going , anyway.0
