  • Hi guys

Louiser, that really sucks but it sounds like your well shot of them, bad customer services and someone needs extra training by the sounds of it.

Sammy, good luck with the remortgage. Fingers crossed.

oh i have to tell this as it made my day!!!!

i was so angry by the way that awful woman at j d williams spoke to me i took her name and was going to write complaint letter, but thought cant be bothered i have better things to do.
so i rang back, asked for her and luckily was put through to her.

    it went like this...

me, good afternoon is this the lady i was speaking to earlier regarding my account
    she, yes
me, oh ok then i would like to spread the joy of this lovely season and save you some time at work, i would like to pay in full my viva la diva account which is still running and with credit limit of 200 pounds. you can then save yourself some time in doing another check and removing that limit.

she, oh i didnt realise you had another account
me oh yes but i guess you kinda missed that one didnt you
    she then took payment
on her words of payment accepted, i said exellent!! do have a super christmas and new year and good luck with the customer service training im sure you will benefit greatly. phone down!

    i felt so much better.

yeah she said because of adverse info on credit file i have a default which was added on after i opened the account, on experian only, but its not settled yet so i guess that has to be it, although i opened a viva la diva account 4 months ago and it was there then, so dunno, but really not bothered it is all rubbish they sell the clothes are bad quality and it takes ages for delivery, they also charge interest from the beginning and charge for delivery too, i dont know if you have an account with them i cant remember but it served a purpose to get green 0s, although i hope it wont do any harm on the file now as it will show as 0 limit and 400 balance so it looks like it not good but hey ho worse things can happen!!!

  • Further to my earlier post on here, I have checked my credit file and have a cifas as I was told and it says that I have been a victim of identity fraud. Will this affect my credit rating?
  • Thanks for the welcome Louiser:A

Im going to try and get myself a credit card as a way of rebuilding my credit score (was extremely silly and got myself into a heap of trouble but on my way to the straight and narrow now - thanks to this site) but im not sure which 1 to go for??

Im very particular about credit searches showing so Id rather go for 1 im most likely to get rather than try my luck with 1 with a cheaper rate......not too bothered about the interest rate as I intend to use it only to buy petrol then pay it off in full to get some of those prized green zeros!

In the last 8 months (since getting rid of evil ex AND his debt) Ive managed to get myself a fairly decent mortgage @ 5.99%, not so decent car finance @ 24.9%, mobile contract (with no conditions) and cash plus card with credit builder (had no idea this existed guys, thanks!)

I have 3 defaults, 2 of which are 4 years old, 1 is 6 months old ( thanks to Aktive Kapital:mad: ) and im currently paying off an old barclaycard debt with Lowell Portfolio with only 4 payments to go before its paid off:j The Credit Agreements mentioned above are all perfectly run with no missed payments:j

Wot, if any, card should I go for?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the life story:o x
