If they are defaults or CCJ then they will remain on your credit file for 6 years. HTH

well guys i spoke to j d williams today about my loss of credit limit of 1200 with them, what a day!!

credit check resulted in removal, they basically said they no longer wanted me as a customer, well they did say that!!!! i told her i will pay off the balance at my minimum payment trying to be awkward, of course its fine by them cos they will still make interest.

i havnt ordered any thing in over a year until last week and thats how i noticed as order was cancelled.

basically told her to stick the account anyway as everything was either out of stock or took weeks to come and most of it is cheap tat. she said i was very rude and i said i think the feeling is mutual as you have just spoken to me in a terrible way!!! all that over 2 yrs of account never late, all green 0s,
    self confessed 80's throwback:D

That's shocking. I have a JD Williams account and they have always been very good for me. What has changed on your credit report that they didn't like?

If you haven't ordered anything for a while it may have been down to that as you wouldn't be making them as much money as they'd like.

Still shocking. My credit is appalling and they put my limit up after just one month. Hope they dont end up doing same to me
