Quite a few people have had the 7-10 day reply, and more often than not, the card has just popped through the letterbox! I think more people are accepted than rejected, but they like to keep you waiting! If you haven't heard anything after the 10 days, then a quick phone call should do the trick
Hope that helps
Hi Sammy,
You were right. Today I found a letter from capital one. It is the contract, it mention a 34.9% interest and 'up to 2500' GBP credit.
Funny enough...my gf did not qualify for a Nationwide debit card :-)
I will keep you posted

wouldn't it be cheaper just to send them £2 each for a paper copy of your credit file, coz it'll be the same info thats on there.ExNicotineQueen wrote: »Hi guys,

Evening everyone,
I applied to them online, got an instant message of acceptance and told I had to wait to hear from the underwriters with regards to the limit.
Then received a text message asking me to ring this number, which I did and I just have to fax copies of both parts of my driving license, 2 bank statements or wage slips and a utility bill..so I am thinking this is because of the CIFAS.
So I will do all that tomorrow from work and hopefully should all be fine...fingers crossed. Debts: Capitalone £0, Vanquis £220, LX Direct £1197, Mutual £1107, JD Williams £23 :eek:0 -
