Yeah money went in the next day - strange thing is I 'think' I could have got more? And as I said already - no credit searchs , as I checked.
Now exactly 12 months ago - I could'nt get anything mainstream (had cap one/vanquis/littlewoods/next) now in January A&L knocked me back for a loan , had a premier account . I applied in may for Natwest - they actualy refused me a credit card but 'matched' my OD with a&l . Funny thing is I had a Barclaycard from the 90's - and recently my limit and APR was going up and down more times than (well you get the message!).
Bottom line is now I am within my means - all my higher aprs gone . Keeping 'flybe' and 'cap one' to use day to day. Pay off regular etc . Plus we are going on holiday for new year so cards will be 'back up'.0 -

To be honest when I joined A&L couple of years ago - credit file was not too clever . But had full account but could'nt get anything else off them - then last year a overdraft - increased this year.
Anyway no problems on my files.
Moved to Natwest - swapped all over - and then this loan !!??!
All I want now is a 'servicecard250 -gold' .... I know thats sad!:rolleyes:0 -

I think we all have some kind of ABL (the maximum amount available for us to borrow) at the bank. You might be able to ask what yours is. Mine at HSBC is around £14k. I don't know exactly how to get my hands on it that cash thoughI just happened to see this ABL on their screen the other day
