I applied online for a capital one card and my application was referred. I was surprised to receive an acceptance letter and signed and returned my agreement. I did not receive anything through the post so gave them a ring. Have now been told that have not been approved and to reapply in 6 months. Am disappointed to be accepted and then declined.0

Why don't you appeal to them? I compiled an appeal letter for darcy so if you want to take a look at that and use it go for it, just put your own data on there and send it to them.I applied online for a capital one card and my application was referred. Thanks Proliant - I will probably apply again later. I was surprised to be accepted as I have a couple of defaults outstanding so will probably wait until I am able to pay them off.0

I applied to Vanquis in January but was declined - not sure how lenient they are with defaults. I do actually have an Aqua card however but was just trying my luck with the other two.0
