The building is still there but it is called something else now, but the back end of Eldon Square has been pulled down and so has Bourgeons bar, the Mayfair went a few years ago when they built the Gate, their is only a few of the old Newcastle bars still alive, shame cos the atmosphere in the older bars was great, you got a good mix of people, my sort of age group up to 50's and 60's too, played a tune for everybody 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and now.christhesparky wrote: »Has legends gone? used to do the maintenance in there, looked like a good place!
